The Senior Public Private Partnership Advisor is a full time position based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia working on the Strengthening Ethiopia's Urban Health Program (SEUHP). The objective of the SEUHP is to support the GOE’s urban health extension program by improving the quality of community–level health services, strengthening referral linkages, building the institutional and technical capacity of Regional Health Bureaus (RHBs) and promoting inter-sectoral collaboration to address urban health challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position’s responsibilities include identifying opportunities for public private partnerships (PPPs) to address critical urban health issues and facilitating collaboration between private groups and relevant public bodies to monitor and evaluate and develop learning agendas from ongoing PPP initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least an MBA or a Master’s degree in a related field;
• Knowledge of PPP best practices, preferable in urban health settings;
• Experience with water and sanitation PPPs and in health commodities PPPs highly preferable.
• Proven experience in the planning and execution of PPPs at local and international levels;
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in developing and implementing successful PPS and building the capacity of counterparts;
• Documented experience in policy negotiation and advocacy work.
• Fluency in Amharic required.

Salary commensurate with experience.
