TIB Corporate Finance Limited is a designated Commercial Bank subsidiary of TIB Development Bank Limited, It was formed from the hived-off commercial banking activities of the restructured Tanzania Investment Bank Limited.
Under the Banking and Financial institutions (Development Finance) Regulation of 2012, commercial banking activities are to be separated from the core Development Financing undertakings. The TIB Corporate Finance Limited's (CFL) main functions are to carry on corporate banking business across a network of branches, agencies and departments. JOB PURPOSE
The job holder will report to the Director of
Corporate Banking and will be responsible for driving the, creation and sales of transaction related solutions and different alternative channels to customers including Government, Corporate,
Institutions, and other business segments in the areas of Cash Management structured solutions,
Electronic Banking, Product Development and Transactional Services. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for ensuring growth of Transactional account numbers for long-term sustainability of the business and the overall bank's profitability as well as organize and ensure that trade and cash management strategic business drivers' are effective, continuously reviewed and improved.
Key Responsibilities
Sell comprehensive solutions in Cash management, Trade services and electronic products such as collections, payments and liquidity management products to the existing and prospective customers.
Develop strategy on cash management, transaction sales solutions and other alternative channels.
Participate in any transaction· related offerings including trade finance, lending, technology . related 'offerings, service improvements and marketing of solutions.
Recommend on pricing strategy for various transaction solutions related to' customers’ segments.
Offer Personalized banking services to all segments of corporate clients as defined by the bank.
Organize and deliver client marketing and sales programs for transaction and cash management products.
Cross selling of other banking products such as deposits and credit facilities.
Participate to analyse & report on products
performance and profitability.
Review and provide feedback into customer
satisfaction surveys, responding to customer complaints. .
Liaise with Operations Centers, regularly' reviewing all operational standards for product profitability, and identifying skills gaps.
Liase with business units, operational and support functions to design and deliver appropriate training related to cash management and transactional solutions.
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.'
Requirements
Degree/Advanced Diploma in Business /Management; Economics; Finance,
Information and Communication Technology (lCT) or and any other related fields from a recognized University/institution.
At least six years of work experience in banking.
A comprehensive understanding of banking,market, practical knowledge of trade finance, cash management,' operations, ,branch operations. -
Qualification; Knowledge and Experience
Essential
Holders of Master's, Degree/ Post graduate qualifications in fields) of Accounting, '-
Commerce, Economics or relates discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
Professional Qualification in banking' will be an added advantage.
A minimum of six years working experience: ' in Corporate Banking with at least three years in senior position especially in sales..
Excellent understanding of banking products.
Preferred
Knowledge of Corporate Banking Products.
Interpersonal skills to create and maintain
relevant business networks.
Effective' communication' skills to manage customer expectations' (internal and external) and other stakeholders who impact performance.'
Knowledge of computer software for managing, reviewing and analyzing commercial credit applications especially Credit Quest.
Knowledge and effective application of all relevant banking policies, processes, procedures and regulatory guidelines to consistently achieve required compliance standards or benchmarks.
Ability to formulate and perform constant review of the Credit analysis processes.
Good communication, writing' and presentation skills.
