Food Production Manager (1 POST)

The Cashew Research Programme based at Agricultural Research Institute Naliendele Mtwara invitees qualified candidates to apply for the above vacancy.

Qualifications:
Form VI leaving certificate with good passes
Bachelor in Food Science Technology from Sokoine University of Agriculture or any other University within or outside Tanzania
Not more than 45 years of age
Should be able to speak and write English and Swahili
Must be a citizen of United Republic of Tanzania
Experience required at least three years (3) and above in food manufacturing management

Computer skills: Strongly computer abilities familiarity with Microsoft Word,
Excel and Power Point
Additional Requirement: Knowledge of food industry regulations
Responsibilities of the job include:
Planning and organizing production schedules
Assessing project and resources requirements
Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
Determining quality control standards
Overseeing production processes
Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
