Sales Clerk Grade III (1 POST)
Qualifications:
Holders of National Form IV Certificate with bias in Commercial Subjects.;
Must have passed at least two of the following subjects; Commerce,
Mathematics, Book-Keeping and English. Must be in possession of a basic/ foundation Certificate recognized by the Government.
Duties:
Cleanliness of the shop and surroundings
Loading and off-loading, packing etc of merchandise.
Arrange merchandise in shelves etc
Attend customers.
Supplies Officer Grade I (1 POST)Sales Clerk Grade III (1 POST)
Qualifications:

Must be registered with the NBAA as an approved Supplies Officer and/or Stock verifier.
Duties:
Depending on the area (s) of responsibility, (stores, purchasing or stock control) the job holder will perform from among the following duties:
Responsible for smooth running and security of the stores
Check goods against GRN before acceptance for storage
Keep complete, accurate and up-to-date record of stock movements of all items in the store.
Keep stores and stocks in appropriate locations in good condition to minimize loss, obsolescence of damage.
Ensure cleanliness and economy utilization of storage space.
Organize, supervise and control the purchasing functions and activities both locally and internationally.
Advice and support Financial Manager in the implementation of policies in local and overseas procurement.
Organize, coordinate and control the clearing and forwarding functions.
Process and monitor programmes of shipping claims with responsible authorities.
Maintain proper records of purchasing section to ensure easy accessibility to past and present information on the activities of the section.
Work out and give relevant advice on stock levels for all items including minimum, re-order, hastening and maximum stock levels and lead times.
Compute and determine the average stock consumption rates which will assist in assessing adequacy of stocks in a given period.
In co-operation with user departments assist initiation of the procurement process.
Determine the purchase cost of materials by taking into consideration all costs embodied in procurement.
In collaboration with the financial/cost accounting division; ascertain the value of stock balance to be incorporated in the final accounts as and when required, especially at the year's end.
Assess, evaluate and train subordinates.

Economist Grade I (1 POST)
Qualifications;
Holders of a degree in either Economic Planning or Industrial Management or its equivalent from recognized University. With at least three years of working experience.
Duties:
Preparation of economic reports.
Collection of data and preparation of projects.
To assist in analyzing and seeking solutions to economic problems in
different fields such as public finance, economic and social infrastructure.
Interpretation of economic planning.
Preparation of budgets.
Analyzing input/output data and other related production flows etc.
Forecasting and analyzing corporate growth trends.
Supplies Assistant Grade II (1 POST)
Qualifications;
National Form IV Examination Certificate with credits in Mathematics,
English and any of the following (subjects) Commerce, Economics or Bookkeeping. OR National Form VI Certificate with at least one principal and' a subsidiary in Mathematics, Economics, commerce or Accountancy. OR
Personnel with BSc, Pre-Foundation and who has completed a minimum of three years satisfactory in service .
Duties:
Maintain stock records
Assist in establishing claims for lost or shorthanded goods with relevant authorities
Preparation of relevant periodic report
Filling of documents for future retrieval/reference
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by superiors
Reconcile bin card and stores ledger to establish discrepancies and advise immediate superior for corrective action.
Expedite deliveries for all orders placed -
Raise purchase requisition for replenishment of supplies
Liaise with user department for existing needs and specifications for timely procurement
Advise on current and future supply needs
Participate in coding of assets
Receive and issue work in progress and finished products
Perform any other duties as may be assigned the by supervisor.
Engineer Grade II (x 8 )
Qualification;
Holders of B.Sc degree or its equivalent in Civil, Electronics, Irrigation
Architect, Quantity surveyor, Chemical engineering from a recognize
University with at least two years work-experience.
Duties:
Candidates shall undertake assignments geared towards giving them practical training so as to meet registration requirements of the respective Boards.
To work on specific tasks under the supervision of experienced
Engineers.
Technician Grade II(x 7)
Qualifications;
Must possess-a Full Technician certificate or Ordinary Diploma major in
Mechanical, Laboratory
Duties.
This is a training post. The appointee must be prepared to undertake following duties related to the field as may be assigned and closely supervised.
Undertaking minor works repairs and other facilities;
Conducting 'regular inspections 'Of the working tools and facilities
Determining maintenance or repairs required;
Performing extensive design verification testing on prototype and off-tool parts.
Working closely with quality and assist in troubleshooting.
Other responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisors .
Livestock Field Assistant Grade II (1 POST)
Qualifications;
Form IV leaver with at least one year course in Livestock management.
Must be in possession of certificate in Livestock breeding/management or Animal Husbandry.
Duties:
To head and keep good control of livestock movements, to help in keeping care of livestock by assisting in inoculations, control of dipping etc, and do any duties assigned to him in accordance to his capability in livestock husbandry, poultry etc.
To maintain cleanliness of the surroundings.
Agricultural Field Assistant Grade II(x 2)
Qualifications;
Secondary School Leaver with at least one year Course in Agriculture. Must be in possession of a basic certificate in Agriculture who have completed a minimum period of three years satisfactory in service.
Duties:
To assist extension/research/irrigation work on growing crops, including training.
To support specialist officers in crops, land planning, soil conservation, vermin control research ete.
Graduate Accountant (1 POST)
Qualification
A full Accountancy qualification i.e CPA (T), ACCA,CA,CIMA or equivalent.
Duties
Checking the authenticity of source documents.
Preparation of Annual Budgets.
Preparation Financial, Statements i.e. Balance sheet income & Expenditure Account/Profit and-loss statement and cash flows.
Conducting stocktaking
Valuation of stocks
Liaison with Internal and External Auditors
Cost accumulation as regards to cost of Raw Material consumed, Labour and Overhead
Pricing of goods/products
Determining cost of work in progress, finished goods and sales
Maintenance of fixed asset register.
Initiates and supervises strategies arid tactics in collecting all outstanding receivables.
Adherence to well a defined internal control system

Performs other duties related to Financial Accounts and Costing as may be directed by his superiors.
Prepare monthly reports of activities performed and points out weaknesses and 'recommends' course of action to rectify errors and anomalies detected.

Ensuring proper maintenance of Cost Accounting records preparation of regular Cost Accounting reports.
Personal Secretary Grade II (1 POST)
Qualification;
Minimum form IV who can speak good English and has passed Secretarial
Examination Stage III with a good pass in Kiswahili or English and Shorthand of 100/120 w.p.m. Must have good computer skills including word processing, use of data spread sheet/excel who has successfully completed three years in service in that grade.
Duties:
Typing open and confidential reports, letters, memoranda and documents.
Receives and guides visitors.
Keeps appointment records.

Human Resources Officer Grade II (x 2 )
Qualifications;
Possession of Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma 'in Public
Administration (with bias in Human Resources management or Public services management) from a recognized University with a working experience at list 2 years. Basic 'Computer application skill will be an added advantage.
Duties:
Coordinate recruitments, placement, timely confirming new employee and promotion.
Check to ascertain accuracy for onward transmission for approval of staff welfare issues e.g. Processing and approving annual leave, loans and other staff claims.
Review procedures and policies on staff recruitment and recommends possible solutions for-management consideration.
Ensure safety of personnel within the office premises.
'Co-ordinate the open performance review and appraisal system (OPRAS)
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Clerical Officer Grade II ( 1 POST)
Qualifications;
Successful completion of Form 1 V with an "0" Level certificate of Education. '
Must have attended a Clerical Induction Course from Public Service College, and obtained a relevant certificate.
Duties;
Registration of mail, filing, indexing, housing of files, maintaining a diary and recording of files for future action.
Ensuring correct distribution of files to schedule officers for action.
Maintain daily record files distributed to officer etc.
Addressing, sorting and dispatching of letters through mail clearing centre or postal services.
Carry files from one office to another.
Artisan II (x 2 )
Qualifications;
Possession of Secondary School Education Certificate, Plus two to three
years training leading to the award of Trade Test Grade III/CBET I/CBA Level with at least three years working experience in related field.
Duties:
This is a training grade and Artisans Grade III will normally work under close supervision of Senior Artisans/Supervisors
