Reporting to the Finance Manager
The Accounts Assistant will be expected to undertake the following tasks
1. Responsible for issueing receipts to clients for cheques and direct deposits as soon as they are received.
2. Follow up issuance of tax invoice to client from head office
3. Preparing banking slips for depositing cheques.
4. Banking HNL cheques received on a day to day basis.
5. Scanning receipts and deposit slips and send to head office.
6. Reconciling bankings and receipts
7. Maintaining HNL branch stores.
8. Ensuring that all new clients are registered on the Registration File including those

9. Ensuring that contracts have been filled out.
10. Purchasing HNL office supplies.
11. Filing documentation for all purchases.
12. Sending bills to client
13. Helping in follow up of debtors by phone, reminding those visiting branch office or those needing Technicians’ help.
14. Raise issue notes for issued stocks; obtain necessary approval for issue of stores
15. Raise GRN for stocks purchased
16. Maintaining required stocks of different supplies in the HNL stores.
17. Issuing stores to different staff.
18. Sending stocks and other reports monthly
19. Performing any other duty assigned by the Finance Manager.
QUALITIES OF STAFF NEEDED:
• Able to work independently
• Must be able to take responsibility
• Be able to work under pressure
• Must have ATEC level II registered with NBAA
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili
