Pre- Press Technicians (x 3) -Reporting to Production Manager.
WORK STATION: Dar es Salaam.

JOB PURPOSE:
To provide ready processed plates to Press technicians within set deadlines.
Major duties and responsibilities:
Carrying out routine maintenance of CTP machine (cleaning and checking for proper operation)
Requesting from stores plates and all chemicals to be used in prepress.
Receiving digital artwork files from editorial for processing plates.
Recording the time for each template arrived in Pre-press.
Checking and ensures for correctness of jobs sent for processing.
Communicates with Graphic designers to rectify any errors.
Operating CTP machine to produce good finished plates.
Punching and bends accurately the plates for Press use.
Counting and records properly plates consumed for all the jobs on daily basis.
Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor (s).

Qualification, skills and experience requirements:
At least a holder of Certificate in Graphics Design and Printing Technology.
Not less than FOUR (4) years of experience in the field with a reputable Organization.
Fluent in both English and Swahili language.
Good at time management, flexible and agile.
Self motivated, creative with sounding self- problem solving skills.

Electrical And Electronics Technician - Reporting to Printing Manager.

Major duties and responsibilities:
To carry out routine maintenance for printing, MlCS, Pre- Press MlCS,' Dark room.
To check and repair electronic cards for machines.
To install and repair electronic and switch gear.
To attend all electrical/ electronic breaks down occurred during the night shift.
To attend emergency faults.
To attend all works in a generator room, and air compressors.
To circulate warm water in inlet/outlet pipes, so as to clean chemicals and inks this
accumulates in pipe, Once in fifteen days.
To flush pipes with air to remove dusts and particles.
Studying and using Electrical and Electronics drawings to solve problems in time .
Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor(s).

Qualification, skills and experience requirements:
At least a holder of F'l'C'Diploma in Electronics and Electronical Engineering.
Not less than THREE (3) years of experience in the field with a reputable
Organization.
Excellent IT skills particularly in Excel and word processing and management.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent in both English and Swahili language.
Good at time management, flexible and agile.
Self motivated, creative with sounding self- problem solving skills.

Mechanical Technician - Reporting to Production Manager.
WORK STATION: Dar es Salaam.

Major duties and responsibilities:
Using Production maintenance software to plan weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly maintenance tasks.
Ensuring that all the tasks specified by the planner are carried out on due dates in accordance with the approved procedures.
Supervising service level provider to carry out proper maintenance on equipment when due.
Attending to breakdowns promptly during production and solves problems within theshortest
time possible.
Installing and commissions new equipment including hardware and software.
Counter checking the work assigned to Plant Technicians to ensure thoroughness.
Recommending to the Press Operations Manager the spare parts to be ordered.
Carrying out daily and monthly stock-take of mechanical spares.
Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor(s).

Qualification, skills and experience requirements:
At least a holder of Basic University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Not less than THREE (3) years of experience in the field with a reputable Organization.
Possessing a Professional Engineer Registration Board Certificate will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication skills both in English and Swahili.
Basic Knowledge in printing operations.
Working knowledge of personal computers (hardware/software)and experience on LAN (Local Area Network).
Able to cope with and work under pressure with sounding flexibility and agility.

Assistant Printers (x 6) - Reporting to Production Manager.
WORK STATION: Dar es Salaam.

Major duties and responsibilities:
Assisting in developing print production technologies and practices within the company.
Assisting in the printing of news papers as per daily printing order (s).
Assisting in coordinating printing processes to ensure quality and timely jobs done.
Assist in print production projects through team, graphics staff and vendors on best possible process.
Assist to ensure all jobs produced are of the best quality at the best possible cost and on time to meet client or vendor needs.
Assisting building lasting business relationship between clients and agency that enable the company to own preferred client relationship.
Assisting in developing complex cost estimates and schedules for needed advertising and obtain team, client and/or agency approvals.
Assisting in searching new vendors or technologies to benefits the client or agency.
Assisting in monitoring and ensuring all printing and production processes happen on time and as planned.
Self1earning and keep up with technology.
Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor (s).
