Job Purpose |
Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced and committed individual to join the Reservations and Ticketing team. This role will see you operating the front desk providing support and assistance in all aspects of reservations and ticketing, whilst ensuring high standards of customer service delivery to exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities |
Providing expert knowledge and customer service to Etihad guests in relation to Etihad products.
Efficient handling of phone and email enquiries and servicing of direct walk in guests to maximise key KPI’s and to contribute to the overall team revenue, yield and volume targets.
Supporting the ticket office operation with ticketing, reissues, refunds, revalidations and check queues on a daily basis
Complying with all reservation and ticketing policies and procedures and standards of guest service
Ensure that all cash takings and daily sales reports balance
Assist all Guests affected by a flight disruption with the aim of minimizing disruption and retaining the customer
Attending to guest problems, escalating to higher levels as required.
Keeping self up to date on product, service, policies and procedures

Requirements |
To be successful in this role you will have:
At least two years airline or travel agency experience in a reservations and ticketing role.
SABRE Reservations System experience is essential
Recognized IATA training or knowledge in rules and regulation of airline restrictions
Minimum High School Certificate education
Expert knowledge of fares, fare construction and the ticketing process
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and to short lead times
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer
