Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an International Humanitarian and development Non- Governmental Organization in General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). GNI strives to improve lives, especially children's lives, through education, food, shelter, community development, medical care, advocacy, and emergency relief.
In order to complete its staff, Good Neighbors Rwanda would like to recruit the following positions:
1 Accountant, 2 child care specialist, 1 Logistics and procurement officer, 1 Human resource officer and Research and communications officer.
1.ACCOUNTANT (1)
1. Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage all financial activities, accounts receivable and payables of the organization
- Verify all projects budget proposal and give some advice on it
- Bank accounts expenses control and ensure that financial transactions are recorded
- Assisting in monthly project budget analysis and financial report (Using Excel, QuickBooks)
- Link the budget with the action plan to avoid mismatch caused by over budgeting or under budgeting
- Perform additional jobs assigned by Country Director, Supervisor and Managers.
2. Qualifications and skills
- A0 in Accounting, Finance
- Be experienced in accounting profession (at least 2 years)
- Skilled in applying financial reporting standards
- Fluent in speaking English, French and Kinyarwanda
- Computer literate with good knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, Power point) and QuickBooks Program
- Availability to start immediately
2.RESEARCH AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER (1)
1. Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and implementing the organization's communication strategy, which includes preparing a wide range of written materials, presentations, and possibly videos for local and international audiences
- Write news releases, reports, publications, and organize press conferences
- Coordinate learning activities within the organization to support documentation and sharing of key lessons and achievements
- Communication with various stakeholders especially UN agency
- Good documentation, research and M&E
2. Qualifications and skills
- Masters degree in communications, journalism, advertising or equivalent field
- Minimum 2-3 professional experience in communication, media and/or publication relations, event management preferably with NGO
- Computer literate-skilled and confident user in office applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, including website content management
- Ability to analyze information from different sources and to synthesize this information into coherent and brief communication documents
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with beneficiaries, media, and stakeholders from Various institutions
- Full proficiency in spoken and written English and Kinyarwanda required. French is an asset

3.HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER (1)
1. Tasks and Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, staff performance, health and safety.
- Administering payroll and maintaining employee records;
- Contract preparation and management
- Prepare workshops, trainings for staff
- Oversee and facilitate the recruitment, selection and training process
- Perform additional jobs assigned by Country Director, Supervisor and Manager.
2. Qualifications and skills
- A0 in human resource management, business administration, and relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience in related field
- Innovative, creative and active
- Have strong organizational, administration, communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in speaking English, French and Kinyarwanda
- Computer literate with good knowledge of MS office(Word, Excel, Power point)
- Availability to start immediately
4.LOGISTICS AND PROCUREMENT OFFICER (1)
1. Tasks and Responsibilities
- Establish, maintain and reinforce procurement policies and financial guidelines
- Implement proper control and monitoring procedures for the procurement and contracting processes
- Responsible for ensuring the transparency and competitiveness
- Prepare and conduct Request for Quotations, bids and proposals evaluation and ensure compliance with procurement regulations
- Implement effective internal control of assets, inventory and property management
- Assist in the coordination of vehicle controls, supervision of drivers, and management of staff movements
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned
2. Qualifications and skills
- A0 in Procurement, Logistics
- At least 3 years experience in related field
- Fluent in speaking English, French and Kinyarwanda
- Computer literate with good knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, Power point,...)
- Availability to start immediately
5.CHILD CARE SPECIALIST (2)
1. Tasks and Responsibilities
- General child sponsorship service
- Conduct training to field workers and community people
- Case management report
- Use of CMS program for approval and document sending to IHQ
- APR, ACL, and CIF making
2. Qualifications and skills
- Experienced in child right education, social work field, and counseling training
- A0 degree in sociology, education, counseling and other related-field
- Fluent in speaking English, French and Kinyarwanda
- Computer literate with good knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, Power point,...)
- Availability to start immediately
