1.16 PROCUREMENT AND LOGISTICS OFFICER II - (1 POST)
1.16.1 REPORTS TO: THE HEAD OF PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT UNIT
1.16.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in planning and forecasting supplies requirements
• Assist in preparation of tendering documents
• Assist in preparation of advertisements of tender opportunities
• Issue approved tendering and contract documents
• Assist in preparation of procurement reports
• Manage an archive records of the procurement and disposal process
• Maintain a list or register of all contract awarded.
• Follow up supply contracts and ensures contracts are honoured.
• Participate in identifying contract defaulters and reports to superior for further
action.
• Assist in all processes of procurement as per approved authority policies, systems and procedures
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by superiors.
1.16.3 QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Logistics/Supplies or its equivalent and has been registered by Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technician Board under the category of Graduate or higher.
1.16.4 REMUNERATION
• Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institution’s Salary
Scale.

ix. Applicants for senior positions currently employed in the public service should route their application letters through their respective employers.
x. Applicants for entry levels currently employed in the Public Service should not apply, they have to adhere to Government Circular Na. CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated 30th November, 2010.
xi. Applicants who have/were retired from the Public Service for whatever reason should not apply.
