As an expanding company were are looking for key staff in the following vacancy

POSITION TITLE	Agriculture Loan Officer
REPORTS DIRECTS TO	Branch Manager
REPORTS INDIRECT TO	Operations Manager
CLOSING DATE	9th May 2014

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·         Undertake regular field visits and interact with farmers and different stakeholders, especially with project partners

·         Responsible for all projects captured in emerge under the officer’s name

·         Liaise and coordinate the day to day operations of projects with the agriculture Loan supervisor/ specialist.

·         Report  monthly to the agriculture Loan supervisor/ specialist

·         Ensure timely distribution of inputs to farmers

·         Keep records of all finance related documents

·         Assist the agriculture supervisor/ specialist in assessing and maintaining necessary internal control pertaining to various areas of the agric program.

·         Produce monthly operational reports.

·         Facilitates group formation by promoting the organization and its products and services with the project partners.

2.     KNOW HOW AND EXPERIENCE

2.1 Qualification

·         A Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, or an equivalent academic qualification

2.2 Experience and Training

·         An experience in a similar role in a financial institution

·         Fully proficient computer skills and use of relevant software and other applications, e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, internet emerge etc.

·         Ability to work with a wide cross-section of partners, including Government, donors, I/NGOs and community-based organizations
