As a Business Analyst in Human Capital, you will be based in Tanzania with occasional travel to the East Africa region and will focus on providing support to the team by ensuring efficient and effective data collection for project execution in the following aspects:
- Demonstrate an interest in and build awareness of the client and its industry and marketplace.
- Assist in determining client needs by gathering and researching data, conducting fact-finding client peer interviews, and utilising common tools and analytical methods.
- Take a broad approach to problem solving;develops pertinent and thoughtful analysis.
- Understand the client's deliverable expectations; contributes to the creation of deliverables in a manner that reflects the Firm's high standards for quality.
- Provide exceptional service to the client by responding with a sense of urgency, practicality, accountability, integrity, and respect.
- Understand the client's level of satisfaction with personal performance and the Firm's performance.
- Assist as appropriate, in the timely resolution of any technical or client service issues; coordinates and communicates activities with engagement management.
- Develop professional relationships with peer-level client personnel through regular contact.
- Comply with the firms risk and independence policies and consult appropriately, widely and in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all client working paper files and office administration procedures are adhered to.
- Keep the engagement manager updated on any issues arising from the assignment.
- Ensure assigned work is completed within agreed time frames and carried out per approved methodologies and standards and within agreed budgets.
- Ensure that all client working papers are filed per approved guidelines and all client files are continually updated.
To qualify for the role of Business Analyst, you should posses the following:
- Bachelors Degree in HR or related field;
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills;
- Excellent analytical and organization skills;
- Excellent relationship building skills;
- Very good presentation skills;
- Good understanding of HR best practices and application of the same;
- Ability to multi-task and undertake research initiatives; and
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
