TANGAZO LA NAFASI ZA KAZI

Sekretariati ya Ajira katika Utumishi wa Umma ni chombo ambacho kimeundwa kwa mujibu wa Sheria ya Utumishi wa Umma Na. 8 ya mwaka 2002 kama ilivyorekebishwa na Sheria Na. 18 ya mwaka 2007 kifungu 29(1). Kwa mujibu wa Sheria hiyo, chombo hiki, pamoja na kazi zingine kimepewa jukumu la kutangaza nafasi wazi za kazi zinazotokea katika Utumishi wa Umma kwa niaba ya Waajiri (Taasisi za Umma).

Katibu wa Sekretarieti ya Ajira Katika Utumishi wa Umma anakaribisha maombi kwa Watanzania wenye sifa na uwezo wa kujaza nafasi 482 za kazi kwa waajiri mbalimbali kama ifuatavyo:

MASHARTI YA JUMLA KWA KAZI ZOTE.

i.       Waombaji wote wawe ni Raia wa Tanzania.

ii.       Waombaji wote waambatishe cheti cha kuzaliwa.

iii.      Waombaji ambao tayari ni Watumishi wa Umma na wamejipatia sifa za kuingilia katika kada tofauti na walizonazo, wapitishe barua zao za maombi ya nafasi za kazi kwa Waajiri wao na Waajiri wajiridhishe ipasavyo.

iv.       Nafasi ya kazi inayoombwa iandikwe katika kichwa cha habari cha barua na juu ya bahasha, kutozingatiwa hili kutasababisha maombi ya kazi kuwa batili.

v.       Waombaji waambatishe maelezo binafsi yanayojitosheleza (Detailed C.V) yenye anwani na namba za simu za kuaminika pamoja na majina ya wadhamini (referees) watatu wa kuaminika.




vi.    Maombi yote yaambatane na vyeti vya taaluma, nakala za vyeti vya kidato cha nne na kidato cha sita kwa wale waliofikia kiwango hicho na vyeti vya kuhitimu mafunzo mbalimbali kwa kuzingatia sifa za kazi husika. Viambatanisho hivyo vibanwe sawa sawa kuondoa uwezekano wa kudondoka au kupotea.

-       Shahada ya juu/Shahada/Stashahada ya juu/Stashahada/Astashahada.

-       Cheti cha mtihani wa kidato cha IV na VI

-       Cheti cha Kompyuta

-       Vyeti vya kitaaluma (Professional certificates from respective boards)

-       Picha moja “Passport size” ya hivi karibuni iandikwe jina kwa nyuma.

vii.       “Transcripts”, “Testmonials”, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of results”, hati matokeo za kidato cha nne na sita (FORM IV AND FORM VI RESULTS SLIPS) HAVITAKUBALIWA.

viii.      Waombaji wawe na umri usiozidi miaka 45.

ix.       Waombaji waliostaafishwa katika Utumishi wa Umma hawaruhusiwi kuomba isipokuwa kama wanakibali cha Katibu Mkuu Kiongozi.

x.       Waombaji kazi ambao tayari ni waajiriwa katika nafasi za kuingilia walioko katika utumishi wa umma wasiombe na wanatakiwa kuzingatia maelekezo yaliyo katika Waraka Na CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 wa tarehe 30 Novemba, 2010.

xi.       Uwasilishaji wa taarifa na sifa za kugushi wahusika watachukuliwa hatua za kisheria.

xii.       Mwisho wa kupokea barua za maombi ni tarehe 15 Aprili, 2014

xiii.      Aidha, uwasilishaji wa barua kwa mkono katika ofisi za Sekretarieti ya Ajira HAURUHUSIWI.

xiv.        Waombaji waliosoma nje ya Tanzania wahakikishe vyeti vyao vimehakikiwa na kuidhinishwa na Mamlaka husika (TCU na NECTA).

xv.       Maombi yanaweza kuandikwa kwa Lugha ya Kiswahili au Kiingereza na yatumwe kupitia posta kwa anuani ifuatayo;-

1.0     AFISA TAWALA DARAJA LA II (ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER GRADE II) – (NAFASI 1)

Nafasi hii ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Afrika Mashariki.

1.1     MAJUKUMU YA KAZI

·         Kusajili vizazi, vifo na ndoa na kutoa hati za viapo.

·         Kuweka kumbukumbu za matukio muhimu,

·         Kuwapokea na kuwahoji wakimbizi wanaowasili,

·         Kuweka kumbukumbu za Wakimbizi

·         Kutunza na kugawa vifaa vya wakimbizi katika makazi.

·         Kuainisha, kuchambua na kushauri kuhusu matatizo ya wakimbizi.

·         Kusimamia nidhamu ya wakimbizi.

·         Kusimamia utekelezaji wa Sheria, Sera, Kanuni na Taratibu mbalimbali Serikalini kutegemeana mahali alipo.

·         Kusimamia kazi za utawala na uendeshaji katika ofisi za Serikali.

·         Kutoa vitambulisho kwa wakimbizi.

1.2     SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI

·         Kuajiriwa wenye Shahada ya kwanza kutoka Vyuo Vikuu vinavyotambuliwa na Serikali katika fani zifuatazo:- Utawala, Sheria (baada ya internship), na Menejimenti ya Umma

·         Awe na ujuzi wa kutumia kompyuta

1.3     MSHAHARA

Kwa kuzingatia Ngazi za mishahara ya Serikali yaani TGS D kwa mwezi.

2.0  MCHUMI DARAJA LA II (ECONOMIST GRADE II) – (NAFASI 23)

Nafasi hizi ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Afrika Mashariki, Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Mambo ya nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa, Katibu Mtendaji Ofisi ya Rais Tume ya Mipango na Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Mawasiliano, Sayansi na Teknolojia .

2.1      MAJUKUMU YA KAZI

·         Kuhudumia kamati mbalimbali za Bunge (Kamati za mahesabu ya Serikali, Kamati ya mahesabu ya mashirika ya Umma)

·         Kukusanya takwimu na taarifa mbalimbali za kiuchumi kwa ajili ya uchambuzi na uandaaji wa sera na mipango ya kiuchumi na kijamii

·         Kufanya utafiti na uchambuzi wa sera na vigezo vya kiuchumi jumla

·         Kufanya utafiti na kubainisha fursa zilizopo katika sekta husika

·         Kukusanya taarifa na takwimu zinazohitajika katika kubainisha vipaumbele vya ustawi namaendeleo ya jamii.

·         Kutayarisha na kusambaza takwimu na taarifa za kiuchumi kwa wadau

2.2  SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI

Kuajiriwa wenye shahada ya kwanza ambao wamejiimarisha (major) katika mojawapo ya fani zifuatazo;

·         Uchumi (Economics)

·         Takwimu (Statistics )

·         Sayansi ya Uchumi Kilimo (BSc Agriculture Economics & Agribusness) kutoka Chuo Kikuu cha Dar es Salaam, Chuo Kikuu cha Sokoine au Chuo kingine chochote kinachotambuliwa na Serikali na wenye ujuzi wa kutumia kompyuta

2.3  MSHAHARA

Kwa kuzingatia Ngazi za mishahara ya Serikali yaani TGS D kwa mwezi.

3.0  MCHUMI DARAJA LA II (ECONOMIST GRADE II) – (NAFASI 1)

Nafasi hii ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Fedha

3.1      MAJUKUMU YA KAZI

·         Kuhudumia kamati mbalimbali za Bunge (Kamati za mahesabu ya Serikali, Kamati ya mahesabu ya mashirika ya Umma)

·         Kukusanya takwimu na taarifa mbalimbali za kiuchumi kwa ajili ya uchambuzi na uandaaji wa sera na mipango ya kiuchumi na kijamii

·         Kufanya utafiti na uchambuzi wa sera na vigezo vya kiuchumi jumla

·         Kufanya utafiti na kubainisha fursa zilizopo katika sekta husika

·         Kukusanya taarifa na takwimu zinazohitajika katika kubainisha vipaumbele vya ustawi namaendeleo ya jamii.

·         Kutayarisha na kusambaza takwimu na taarifa za kiuchumi kwa wadau

3.2  SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI

Kuajiriwa wenye shahada ya Uzamili ambao wamejiimarisha (major) katika mojawapo ya fani ya Uchumi (Economics) au Fedha (Finance) kutoka Chuo chochote kinachotambuliwa na Serikali na wenye ujuzi wa kutumia kompyuta

3.3 MSHAHARA

Kwa kuzingatia Ngazi za mishahara ya Serikali yaani TGS D kwa mwezi.

4.0   AFISA MAENDELEO YA JAMII DARAJA II (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER GRADE II) – (NAFASI 2)

Nafasi hii ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Afrika Mashariki na Katibu Mtendaji Ofisi ya Rais Tume ya Mipango.

4.1  MAJUKUMU YA KAZI

·         Kuandaa na kupendekeza mipango na mikakakati ya kubadili fikra za watu ili waweze kuwa na mawazo ya maendeleo sawia na Sera za Serikali na wakati uliopo

·         Kupitia mbinu shirikishi kuwezesha jamii kuanzisha miradi ya kijamii kama vile:-

-  Usafi wa mazingira

-  Ujenzi wa nyumba bora

-  Ujenzi wa shule

-  Ujenzi wa zahanati

-  Kuchimba au kuzifanyia matengenezo barabara hasa za vijijini

-  Ujenzi wa majosho

-  Uchimbaji wa visima vifupi

-  Utengenezaji wa malambo

·         Kuhamasisha matumizi endelevu ya mazingira

·         Kusambaza na kuhamasisha matumizi ya teknolojia sahihi kama vile uvunaji wa maji ya mvua, majiko sanifu, matumizi ya mikokoteni

·         Kuhamasisha watu kutumia huduma za mafunzo ya Vyuo vya Maendeleo ya Wananchi

·         Kuwasadia wanachi vijijini kuandaa maandiko (Project Write ups) ya kuombea fedha za kuendesha miradi yao

·         Kuhamasisha, kuandaa na kutoa elimu kwa umma kuhusu uraia na Utawala bora

·         Kukusanya, kutunza, kutafsiri na kusambaza takwimu na kumbukumbu muhimu kwa ajili ya matumizi ya jamii

·         Kuwezesha wananchi kupambana na mila zenye madhara kwa afya za wanchi hasa wanawake na watoto wa kike, kuenea kwa virusi vya UKIMWI na magonjwa ya mlipuko.

·         Kuelimisha viongozi wa Serikali za Vijiji, Dini na Mashirika yasiyo ya Kiserikali kuhusu Sera mbalimbali za Wizara ya Maendeleo ya Jamii, Jinsia na Watoto na kutumia Sera hizo

·         Kutoa taarifa za hali ya jamii kwa ngazi mbalimbali

4.2  SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI

·         Kuajiriwa wahitimu wa Shahada au Stashahada ya Juu ya Maendeleo ya Jamii kutoka Vyuo vinavyotambuliwa na Serikali katika fani zifuatazo:-
§    Maendeleo ya Jamii (Community Development)

§    Elimu ya Jamii (Sociology)

§    Masomo ya Maendeleo (Development Studies)

§    Mipango na Usimamizi wa Miradi (Project Planning and Management)

§    Maendeleo na Jinsia (Gender and Development)

4.3  MSHAHARA

Kwa kuzingatia Ngazi za mishahara ya Serikali yaani TGS D kwa mwezi.

5.0  AFISA HABARI II – (NAFASI 3)

Nafasi hii ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Afrika Mashariki na Katibu Mtendaji Ofisi ya Rais Tume ya Mipango.

5.1  MAJUKUMU YA KAZI

·         Kukusanya na kuandika habari.

·         Kupiga picha.

·         Kuandaa picha za maonyesho.

·         Kuandaa majarida na mabango (Posters).

·         Kukusanya takwimu mbalimbali.

·         Kuandaa majarida na vipeperushi.

·         Kuhifadhi picha na kuhudumia maktaba na marejeo.



5.2  SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI

·         Awe na Shahada ya Kwanza au Stashahada ya Juu ya Uandishi wa Habari au sifa inayolingana nayo kutoka chuo kinachotambuliwa na Serikali.

5.3 MSHAHARA

Kwa kuzingatia Ngazi za mishahara ya Serikali yaani TGS D kwa mwezi.



6.0  MKAGUZI HESABU WA NDANI II (INTERNAL AUDITOR II) – (NAFASI 3)

Nafasi hii ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Afrika Mashariki na Katibu Mtendaji Ofisi ya Rais Tume ya Mipango.

6.1  MAJUKUMU YA KAZI

·         Kufanya Ukaguzi wa hesabu katika Idara

·         Kusahihisha na kuidhinisha ripoti za ukaguzi

·         Kusahihisha na kuidhinisha hoja za Ukaguzi wa ndani

·         Kufanya kazi zingine atakazopangiwa.



6.2  SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI

·         Kuajiri wahitimu wa kidato cha sita (VI) wenye cheti cha kati cha uhasibu (intermediate stage) kinachotolewa na NBAA au sifa zinazolingana na hizo.

·         AU

·         Wenye shahada/Stashahada ya juu ya uhasibu kutoka vyuo vinavyotambuliwa na serikali.

6.3 MSHAHARA

·         Kwa kuzingatia Ngazi za mishahara ya Serikali yaani TGS D kwa mwezi.

7.0     MHASIBU DARAJA LA II (ACCOUNTANT GRADE II) – (NAFASI 2)

Nafasi hizi ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Afrika Mashariki na Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Mambo ya nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa.

7.1 MAJUKUMU YA KAZI

·         Kuidhinisha hati za malipo.

·         Kuandika taarifa ya mapato na matumizi ya mwezi.

·         Kusimamia Wahasibu Wasaidizi katika kazi zao za kila siku.

·         Kusimamia shughuli za uhasibu kwenye Kitengo cha Idara.

·         Kuandika taarifa ya maduhuli.

7.2 SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI

·         Kuajiri wahitimu wa kidato cha sita (VI) wenye cheti cha kati cha uhasibu (intermediate stage) kinachotolewa na NBAA au sifa zinazolingana na hizo.

·         Wenye shahada/Stashahada ya juu ya uhasibu kutoka vyuo vinavyotambuliwa na serikali.

7.3 MSHAHARA

Kwa kuzingatia Ngazi za mishahara ya Serikali yaani TGS D kwa mwezi.


8.0     MHIFADHI WANYAMAPORI DARAJA LA III – (NAFASI 100)

Nafasi hizi ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Maliasili na Utalii.

·         Kufanya doria ndani na nje ya maeneo ya hifadhi

·         Kudhibiti vitendo vya ujangili nje na ndani ya hifadhi

·         Kusimamia shughuli za uwindaji wa kitalii na utalii wa picha

·         Kulinda binadamu na mali zake dhidi ya Wanyamapori

·         Kukusanya na kulinda Nyara za Serikali

·         Kufanya usafi na ulinzi wa kambi

·         Kusimamia uingiaji na utokaji wa watu na mali zao kwenye hifadhi

·         Kukusanya na kutunza vielelezo vya ushahidi na kutoa ushahidi Mahakamani

·         Kukagua wanyamapori kwenye mashamba na mazizi ya wanyamapori na kukusanya takwimu zao

·         Kusimamia taratibu za kusafirisha wanyamapori hai na nyara nje na ndani ya Nchi

·         Kudhibiti wanyamapori waharibifu

·         Kudhibiti moto kwenye hifadhi

·         Kufanya kazi nyingine atakazopangiwa zinazoendana na taaluma yake

8.2 SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI

·         Kuajiriwa wahitimu wa kidato cha IV au kidato cha VI wenye Astashahada ya Uhifadhi Wanyamapori (Technician Certificate in Wildlife Management) kutoka Chuo cha Taaluma ya Wanyamapori Pasiansi au chuo kingine kinachotambuliwa na Serikali.

8.3 MSHAHARA

Kwa kuzingatia Ngazi za mishahara ya Serikali yaani TGS B2 kwa mwezi.


9.0     MHIFADHI WANYAMAPORI DARAJA LA III – (NAFASI 327)

Nafasi hizi ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Maliasili na Utalii.

9.1 MAJUKUMU YA KAZI

·         Kufanya doria ndani na nje ya maeneo ya hifadhi

·         Kudhibiti vitendo vya ujangili nje na ndani ya hifadhi

·         Kusimamia shughuli za uwindaji wa kitalii na utalii wa picha

·         Kulinda binadamu na mali zake dhidi ya Wanyamapori

·         Kukusanya na kulinda Nyara za Serikali

·         Kufanya usafi na ulinzi wa kambi

·         Kusimamia uingiaji na utokaji wa watu na mali zao kwenye hifadhi

·         Kukusanya na kutunza vielelezo vya ushahidi na kutoa ushahidi Mahakamani

·         Kukagua wanyamapori kwenye mashamba na mazizi ya wanyamapori na kukusanya takwimu zao

·         Kusimamia taratibu za kusafirisha wanyamapori hai na nyara nje na ndani ya Nchi

·         Kudhibiti wanyamapori waharibifu

·         Kudhibiti moto kwenye hifadhi

·         Kufanya kazi nyingine atakazopangiwa zinazoendana na taaluma yake


9.2 SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI

·         Kuajiriwa wahitimu wa kidato cha IV au kidato cha VI wenye Astashahada ya Awali ya Uhifadhi wa Wanyamapori (Basic Technician Certificate in Wildlife Management) kutoka Chuo cha Taaluma ya Wanyamapori Pasiansi au chuo kingine kinachotambuliwa na Serikali.

9.3 MSHAHARA

Kwa kuzingatia Ngazi za mishahara ya Serikali yaani TGS B1 kwa mwezi.


10.0  MHIFADHI WANYAMAPORI DARAJA LA II – (NAFASI 10)

Nafasi hizi ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mkuu Wizara ya Maliasili na Utalii.

10.1    MAJUKUMU YA KAZI

·         Kufanya doria ndani na nje ya maeneo ya hifadhi

·         Kudhibiti vitendo vya ujangili nje na ndani ya hifadhi

·         kusimamia uwindaji wa kitalii na utalii wa picha

·         kulinda Nyara za Serikali

·         Kusimamia usafirishaji wa wanyamapori na nyara nje na ndani ya Nchi

·         Kusimamia matumizi ya magari ya doria

·         Kukagua wanyamapori kwenye mashamba na mazizi ya wanyamapori na kutunza takwimu zao

·         Kuratibu uingiaji wa wageni katika Mapori ya Akiba

·         Kudhibiti moto katika hifadhi

·         Kukusanya na kutunza vielelezo vya ushahidi na kutoa ushahidi Mahakamani

·         Kukusanya takwimu za wanyama na mimea kwenye hifadhi

·         Kufanya kazi nyingine atakazopangiwa zinazoendana na taaluma yake

SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI

Kuajiriwa wahitimu wa kidato cha IV au kidato cha VI wenye Stashahada ya

Uhifadhi  Wanyamapori  (Diploma  in  Wildlife  Management)  kutoka  Chuo  cha

Usimamizi Wanyamapori Mweka au Chuo kingine kinachotambuliwa na Serikali.

11.0  DEREVA DARAJA LA II (DRIVER II) – (NAFASI 2)

Nafasi hizi ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mtendaji Ofisi ya Rais Tume ya Mipango.

11.1    MAJUKUMU YA KAZI

·         Kuendesha magari ya abiria, magari madogo na malori

·         Kuhakikisha gari na vyombo vyake vipo katika hali nzuri wakati wote, na kufanya uchunguzi wa gari kabla na baada ya safari ili kugundua ubovu unaohitaji matengenezo,

·         Kufanya matengenezo madogo madogo katika gari,

·         Kutunza na kuandika daftari la safari “Log-book” kwa safari zote.

11.2  SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI

·         Kuajiriwa wenye Cheti cha Mtihani wa Kidato cha IV, Wenye Leseni daraja la “C” ya uendeshaji pamoja na uzoefu wa kuendesha magari kwa muda usiopungua miaka mitatu bila kusababisha ajali na wenye Cheti cha Majaribio ya ufundi Daraja la II (Trade test II).

11.3    MSHAHARA

Kwa kuzingatia Ngazi za mishahara ya Serikali yaani TGOS.A kwa mwezi.


12.0  AFISA USAFIRISHAJI DARAJA LA II (TRANSPORT OFFICER GRADE II ) – (NAFASI 1)

Nafasi hii ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mtendaji Ofisi ya Rais Tume ya Mipango.

12.1 MAJUKUMU YA KAZI

·         Kutayarisha gharama za uendeshaji wa usafiri kwa ajili ya kusaidia kutoa maamuzi.

·         Kuhakikisha kuwa takwimu na kumbukumbu zinazohusu vyombo vya usafiri pamoja na mitandao yake zinatunzwa vyema na kwa usahihi. Kuandaa takwimu zinazohusu maendeleo ya ukuaji wa sekta ya usafirishaji, na kuwasilisha kwa watumiaji ndani na nje ya nchi.

·         Kukusanya takwimu za usafirishaji nchini.

·         Kukadiria na kushauri juu ya utendaji wa miradi mbalimnbali ya sekta ya usafirishaji.

·         Kutekeleza majukumu mengine yanayohusu sekta ya usafirishaji

12.2 SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI

·         Kuajiriwa wenye Stashahada ya kawaida ya Usafirishaji kutoka Vyuo vinavyotambuliwa na Serikali.

13.0 AFISA MAZINGIRA DARAJA LA II – (NAFASI 1)

Nafasi hii ni kwa ajili ya Katibu Mtendaji Ofisi ya Rais Tume ya Mipango.

13.1 MAJUKUMU YA KAZI

·         Kukusanya Takwimu na Taarifa mbalimbali zinazohusu Usimamizi na Hifadhi ya Mazingira.

·         Kutoa (disseminate) elimu ya Hifadhi ya Mazingira kwa Wadau mbalimbali.

·         Kushiriki katika kuandaa Mpango wa kazi na bajeti.

·         Kushiriki katika tafiti zinazohusu Usimamizi na Hifadhi ya Mazingira.

·         Kufuatilia utekelezaji wa Sera na Sheria zinazohusiana na Usimamizi wa Mazingira.

·         Kufuatilia na Kuainisha Maeneo yanayopaswa kuhifadhiwa.

·         Kufanya kazi nyingine atakazopangiwa kulingana na uwezo na taaluma yake.

13.2 SIFA ZA MWOMBAJI.

·         Kuajiriwa wahitimu wenye Shahada ya kwanza ya Sayansi/Sanaa yenye mwelekeo wa Usimamizi na Hifadhi ya Mazingira katika moja ya fani zifuatazo,

‘Geography and Environmental Studies, Aquatic Environmental Science and Conservation, Environmental Science and Management, Environmental

Laboratory Science Technology, Environmental Planning and Management’ au sifa zinazolingana na hizo kutoka Vyuo vinavyotambulika na Serikali.

13.3 MSHAHARA

1.0       TANZANIA FOOD AND NUTRITION CENTRE – TFNC

Tanzania Food and Nutrition Centre (TFNC) is a Government Institution under the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. The Centre is responsible for spreading nutrition activities in the country with the objectives of controlling and reducing all forms of malnutrition.

1.1         SENIOR RESEARCH OFFICER I, SOCIOLOGY - 1 POST

·         Design social anthropological  approaches to nutrition research and interventions

2.1       OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH AUTHORITY - OSHA

Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA) is a Government Executive Agency Established under the Executive Agencies Act No. 30 of 1997. Its main function is to promote a good, sound and a healthy working environment by enforcing the Occupational Safety and Health Act. No.5 of 2003 through inspection of work places to detect hazards which can affect the health of workers, conducting medical examination to workers, providing education and conducting training in Occupational Safety and Health. The ultimate goal is to have a healthy worker at a healthy work environment so as to increase productivity.

2.1         MEDICAL OFFICER II - 1 POST
2.1.1  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Take part in specific occupational health programmes for both workers and management

·         Conduct risk assessments and general inspections at workplaces and identify work conditions that contribute to the overall ill health of workers and suggest improvement measure by finding root causes

·         Participate in assessment of workers disability as a result of occupational illnesses and injuries for the purpose of worker compensation and or rehabilitate programmes

·         Provide advice on workers rehabilitation programmes for workers with work related problems such as disabilities to regain their normal health status

·         Investigate and report on occupational accidents and occupational diseases

·         Monitor and detect occupational disease or conditions with regard to prevalence in known and unknown activities

·         Conduct follow up inspections to ensure corrective measures have been implemented

·         Performing any other related duties as may be assigned by the Head (Occupational Medicine)

·         Liaise with, and provide support and training to staff and end users on computer operation issues.
