Our client, a global educational institution, is looking for the above mentioned position to join their team to be based in Kenya that would head their East Africa operations. The ideal candidate would initially be allocated markets in East Africa as well as key markets within their area of operation. He/she would then manage teams for those markets as well as the budgets for the designated portfolios.
Duties/Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for or have the following duties:-
- Provide line management for market heads to achieve annual market plans and growth targets
- Monthly reporting of the portfolios’ figures
- Develop regional priorities for Business development
- Work closely with the head of marketing in coordinating sales and marketing drives
- Continuously maintain effective utilization of budgets and resources
- Continuously share best practices and initiatives.

- BCom or BAcc with a Postgraduate degree in Sales, Business Administration
- Approximately aged between 30 – 40.
- Approximately 10 years’ experience in a snr business relationship/development or sales role gained in a service environment
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies and or business plans
