Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA) is a Government Executive Agency Established by under the Executive Agencies Act No. 30 of 1997. Its main function is to promote good, sound and a healthy working environment by enforcing the Occupational Safety and Health Act. NO.5 of 2003 through inspection of work places to detect hazards which can affect the health of workers, conducting medical examination to workers, providing education and conducting training in Occupational Safety and Health. The ultimate goal is to have a healthy worker at a healthy work environment so as to increase productivity.

OSHA herby invites applications from qualified Tanzanian to fill the following posts.

Duty Station-Dar es Salaam

1 .1 MAIN DUTIES

To receive and direct visitors to relevant officers with permission of the officers Keeping and Maintain visitors register

Receiving and directing telephone calls to relevant staff Receiving incoming and outgoing calls register Reporting on telephone defects promptly •

To ensure the reception area is kept neat and presentable

Performing any other duties as may be assigned by Head of Administration and Human Resources department.

1.3 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Holder of "O"level Secondary Education with credits In English, Kiswahili and have attended basic training course in reception and telephone operating from recognized institutions.

Excellent communication skills in both English and Swahili
