Guest House Caretaker

Organisation Caritas Switzerland and Caritas Luxembourg are non-governmental agencies and members of Caritas Internationalis. Caritas works worldwide and adheres to international humanitarian principles. Caritas works closely with Catholic Diocese of Torit.
Caritas is currently seeking to Guesthouse Caretaker for their Compound in Torit-Eastern Equatoria State
Position Guesthouse Caretaker
Work Place Torit-Eastern Equatoria State- South Sudan
Starting date ASAP
Duration 1 year
Tasks • Responsible for running of services at guesthouse e.g. electricity and water
• Supervise general cleaning of the compound (office, kitchen, rooms, tents and also the compound)
• Supervise Cooks and ensure menu is balanced
• Work closely with the Administration in the purchase of the items required in the kitchen and for room maintenance
• Work closely with the Administration in accounting of room occupation and consumption of meals (meal sheets)
• On demand assist in the management of the Ikwoto field base
• Show hospitality to visitors looking for accommodation
• In charge of stock control; food, drinks, cutlery, cooking items, cleaning materials, room amenities, linen.
Requirements • Good communication skills
• Diploma in Hotel Management
• Excellent in written and spoken English
• Age 25-35 years old
• Previous work experience in an NGO is an advantage
• Must be South Sudanese by Nationality. Valid identification documents will be required.
