The Economic and Public Sector Program (EPSP) is an Australian Government, AusAID initiative, a partnership between the Governments of Australia and Papua New Guinea. The goal of EPSP is to provide an effective and efficient public service that focuses on service delivery for the men, women and children of PNG. The program also aims to create an enabling environment for broad-based economic growth.
The Department of Labour and Industrial Relations (DLIR) is receiving support from EPSP and GoPNG to enhance and promote decent Work, Industrial Peace, Human Resource Development and Labour Administration, in line with pillars one and two of Vision 2050. DLIR require three highly experienced consultants for the following position;
Due to a recently established IT system, DLIR requires a highly experienced senior IT and Communications expert for a six month periodic input. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical assistance to guide DLIR through the early stages of their new system, ensuring the system is implemented and operational. To carry out this role, you must possess practical demonstrated experience in the design of a communication strategy and facilitate the operations of a website. Tertiary qualifications in IT/Communications are essential.
The Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF) applies. This position is classified as discipline B, level 3.*
