The Economic and Public Sector Program (EPSP) is an Australian Government, AusAID initiative, a partnership between the Governments of Australia and Papua New Guinea. The goal of EPSP is to provide an effective and efficient public service that focuses on service delivery for the men, women and children of PNG. The program also aims to create an enabling environment for broad-based economic growth.
The Department of Labour and Industrial Relations (DLIR) is receiving support from EPSP and GoPNG to enhance and promote decent Work, Industrial Peace, Human Resource Development and Labour Administration, in line with pillars one and two of Vision 2050.
The Change Management/HR Consultant is an operational position and will provide the platform for human resources development and management in line with the DLIR Strategic and Corporate Plan. Your main responsibility will be to further develop DLIR’s overall service orientation by supporting and driving the required changes, as well as to develop an appropriate change management and HR Strategy. You must possess significant experience in HR and change management with the ability to develop and implement corporate and HR strategies. A strong understanding of capacity development programs, preferably from within a public sector environment will be highly regarded.
The Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF) applies. This position is classified as discipline B, level 3.*
