Livelihoods Programme Quality Director - World Vision International

Our 45,000+ staff members working in more than 90 countries are united through our ethos, mission and shared desire for all individuals, especially children, to overcome poverty, inequality and injustice.   Here’s where you come in:   As Livelihoods Programme Quality Director you will provide strategic leadership that influences the quality and impact of World Vision’s livelihoods programme portfolio globally, ensuring National Office programmes implement the highest quality evidence based practice. This will entail the leadership and quality control of key evidence based intervention packages, project models and impact measures in alignment with the WV Partnership strategy for Livelihoods. You will also provide strategic leadership to the evidence building processes and partnerships required to build a culture and practice of learning and innovation in programme DME. In addition, you will direct the development of strategic guidance to National Offices (NOs) on the integration of Livelihoods programmes into National Strategies, Technical Approaches/Programmes.   Requirements include:   Master’s degree in relevant subject (livelihoods, agriculture, economic development etc.) 10 years’ experience in the International development / humanitarian sector with a proven track record in delivering quality results in livelihoods, agriculture or economic development project / programme implementation in the field and at the global level in a complex multilayered organisation. Deep understanding and experience of quality and impact within the integrated livelihoods sector (knowledge of resilience thinking and economic empowerment models essential). Effective in written and verbal communication in English.
