Western Zone Tobacco Growers Cooperative Union Ltd is vested with the duties of providing high quality services to all tobacco farmers within the Region. Currently the Union is wishing to recruit highly motivated and dynamic staffs to fill in the following positions:-
1. LEGAL - OFFICER (ONE POST)
Key - Responsibilities.
To ensure Board's affairs are conducted in accordance with the requirements' of the act establishing WETCU Ltd.
To abides by all statutory requirements imposed on the Board.
Chief Advisor of the General Manager in all legal matters including the Administration of the Board and General Meeting - affairs.
To handle cases related to Amcos (Primary Co-operative Societies) including preparing and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, leases, Management Audit Reports for major clients arid highlights legal implications.
Making regular review of bylaws to fit changing circumstances - in .
Receiving and prepare recovery of recovers and repayment case's to the court of Law.
Supervising and Manage WETCU legal registry.
Handling all legal matters, including litigation and liaison effecting WETCU Ltd.
Eventually perform and other duties as assigned by General Manager.
ACADEMIC - QUALIFICATION
Holders of Degree in Law with training in Secretarial - ship of it's equivalent and registered as an advocate of high court. Must have at- least three years working experience in dealing with legal- matters preferable those related to operations of public and private sectors.
Age : Within (40 - 50) years.
Salary
As per WETCU Scales (WETCU 12)
Experience
At least three years experience in a Senior Position from recognized and reputable organization.
Terms of Services
A three years fixed contract renewable on mutual Agreement.
