For its Executive Office in Brussels, IDF is looking to hire an “Online Coordinator” for the Communications and Advocacy Department. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual to be part of a progressive international federation.
Organisation
The IDF Online Coordinator works under the direction of the Director of Communication & Advocacy.
Objective
Support the development and implementation of IDF Online publications, presence and projects. Support communications and oversee delivery of IDF new website and as well as developing and delivering IDF’s social media engagements.
Core Accountabilities:
• Project lead for all idf.org website-related requirements & general online activities, including social media presence & engagement
• Maintenance of social communities across all of our channels and networks
• Daily Community management (monitor #, engage with followers)
• Set-up and implement social media performance measurement
• Monitor and analyse engagement trends in order to inform real time communications campaigns
• Identify creative opportunities for IDF to engage with its established community and widen its community
• Offer support to other departments in integrating social media in external communications campaigns
Skills
• Understanding and affinity with non-profit organizations and healthcare.
• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable online activities, including website launch & maintenance
• Minimum of 2 years social media experience for a company across multiple networks (incl. Twitter, Facebook, Vine, Google+, Instagram, Tumblr etc).
• Familiarity with general marketing, communications and specific social media concepts/principles and channels.
• Excellent English language writing skills and ability to write engaging copy to tight deadlines.
