The “Kilombero and Lower Rufiji Wetlands Ecosystem Management Project (KILORWEMP)” is part of the Cooperation Programme between Belgium and Tanzania. The project is co-funded by the European Union. The Belgian Technical Cooperation (BTC) executes the project in partnership with the Wildlife Division of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism acting as lead implementing agency. The project supports the implementation of the existing policy framework of decentralized natural resources management and wildlife conservation around the key concept of Community Based Natural Resource Management in the three target districts of Kilombero, Ulanga and Rufiji, while at the same time addressing key issues of policy review, monitoring, landscape management and stakeholder coordination.

BTC is seeking the services of two qualified and experienced individual to act as Project Accountants. One position is at the Dar es Salaam office of the Project Implementation Unit. The second position is at the project office of Mahenge, Ulanga District. The project accountants shall support the administrative and financial management functions of the project in their respective offices, including cash management, advances and receivables, accounting, planning, reporting, assets records and logistics

EXECTED DURATION OF CONTRACT 2 years renewable up to project end (September 2017)
GROSS SALARY RANGE: 1,700,0000 to 2,000,000 TzSh (14 months/year)

We are looking for two individuals Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting; and at least five years’ experience as Accountant in donor funded projects or programs, acquired in NGO or other development agency.
