Role Purpose
Develop customer solutions in the sales cycle by understanding their needs and aligning those needs with our portfolio of products. Support the corporate sales team with the required product information, communicate sales strategies effectively and support sales team in the entire liaison required. Responsible for pre sales project management from requirement capture and design to implementation and handover.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work with Product Management and Marketing to help define / refine sales messages and ensure sales packages are developed and messages communicated to sales team. 2. To attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution. 3. Production of responses to Requests for information and Requests for pricing. 4. Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally. 5. Work with Sales personnel to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of pre sales activities. 6. Liaison with Product Managers and Development to understand details of product direction and design and communicate information back to sales organization. 7. Monitoring and managing the technical pre-sales environments.
Position Requirements
• Degree in Telecommunication engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent. • At least 3 years’ experience in customer-facing activities in a B2B environment. • Relevant experience in technical product configuration or technology related experience. • A technical solution expertise in a comparable presales/project manager role. • Very good understanding in GSM, UMTS and possibly LTE as well as in ‘core’ networks. • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Visio. • Cisco Certifications CCNA, CCDA & CCNP an advantage. |
