NGO is looking to hire an executive officer in the 2014 Financial Year. Please distribute this vacancy details to qualified community members.
Position Title: Executive Officer.
Skills and qualities:
Someone with skills in management functions and knowledge of technology, including: project management; organization and scheduling. Someone who can do document preparation, storage, and filing, with skills on record keeping; customer service and public relations will be ideal.
Responsibilities:
Working under the direction of GC, some of the jobs of this officer include:
1. Preparing reports, conducting research and making meeting arrangements for governing council, board of trustees and Annual general Meeting.
2. Plan meetings and special events, work closely with GC, members and business people within the community, create presentations, schedule events and facilities, coordinate direct mailings, maintain multiple schedules and calendars, handle messages and correspondence (with e-mail, and regular postal mail), maintain computer and physical files, directories, and various TYPA databases, and more.
3. Special program and project management including follow ups of various TYPA activities
4. Membership Management
5. Proper Filing and registration of GC and Annual General meeting minutes
6. Perform day to day operations of the association under the direction of the GC.
7. Career Counseling for high school students encouraging them to pursue higher education locally and abroad.
