EngenderHealth is seeking expressions of interest from highly qualified candidates for the Chief of Party/Project Director position on an anticipated USAID-funded project that will build the capacity of the Government of Tanzania to support combination community-based HIV prevention programming.

Job summary

Based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, the Chief of Party/Project Director will have overall responsibility for strategy setting, technical leadership, coordination and collaboration, oversight of project activities, fiscal accountability, and staff supervision. S/he has an advanced degree in health sciences, public health, international development, or a related field, with at least 10 solid years’ experience of leading, managing, and implementing USAID-funded HIV programs in Tanzania and/or other developing countries. Fluent spoken and written English required. Applications from international and Tanzanian candidates considered.
