Role overview
The Project that aims to increase learning outcomes and completion rates for secondary school students in Lindi region and support them to access vocational training, higher education and the job market.Your principal responsibility will be to ensure high quality project outcome delivery within the project budget and scope.You will have excellent management skills, sound judgment, strong analysis and planning skills and the capacity to manage a substantial workload with responsibility for financial accountability and delivery of this project. |
Skills, qualifications and experience required
We are looking for dynamic and influential person to join the Tanzanian Team to lead and manage MC Project .You will be able to demonstrate strengths in the following areas:3 years experience in Managing project. Essential: • Experience of planning and managing projects with multiple stakeholders, delivering expected benefits in challenging contexts to tight deadlines. • Proven experience of strategic thinking, including identifying, analysing, problem-solving and responding to opportunities and challenges and the ability to translate into practical plans of action. • Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to vary communication content and style to suit audiences to inform motivate and inspire. • Ability to build effective working relationships, inspiring confidence and credibility with employees at all levels. • Financial -Experience of the financial management of budgets, including building a budget, monitoring and managing expenditure. • Ability to analyse and quickly grasp the fundamentals of a need or issue. Able to find innovative ways of solving or pre-empting problems. • Ability to manage a project in a climate of change, recognising and being open to ambiguity, uncertainty and opportunities. • The person we are looking for will, be qualified to degree level, have at least 3 years experience in managing projects and have at least two years experience line managing people. Desirable: • Experience in coordinating activities in collaboration with corporate sector • Experience and knowledge of the Education sector in Tanzania. |
