Tanga Cement Company Limited, the leading manufacturer of the well known SIMBA CEMENT brand, has exciting job opportunities available for qualified, skilled and ambitious candidates. The place of recruitment and work station is Tanga.
Reporting to: 'Head of Mechanical Maintenance Qualifications and Experience
Bsc. or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Computer literate and MS office skills, Good organising skills and people management, Experience in maintenance, System implementations and strategies.
At least Two (2) years experience in cement or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure maximum availability of mechanical equipment, Execute planned maintenance activities at the plant, Ensure effective and timely reports at optimum cost, Coaching on job training for the subordinates, Ensure all design modifications conforms to required specification and company standard, Effective in utilization of available resources, Ensure critical spares are available for both planned and unplanned activities and preventive maintenance orders are implemented as per schedule. Must be able to work under pressure and honor the sense of urgency in providing excellent service to customers, The candidate will be ultimately responsible for safe working practices especially in area of responsibility.
Remuneration
The salary offered is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
