The role

Sandvik Financial Services, SFS, is a functional organisation working with Treasury matters, customer financing and pension management. Corporate Finance has the task of working with ownership issues effecting the financial activities and capital structure of the Sandvik Group, and supporting the Group to establish financial policies and to set up funding programs, among other things. Corporate Finance also organises, on a regional basis, local Treasurers around the Group. We are now facing new treasury challenges in Africa and are looking for an Assistant Regional Treasurer to support the Regional Treasurer in proactively improve routines and processes to support the overall Treasury performance of the Group.

Key performance areas

As an Assistant Regional Treasurer your responsibilities include:

• Driving and participating in projects regarding Treasury processes
• Communicating relevant analysis to the right people at the right time and proposing actions for development and improvements
• Supporting the Local Treasurers
• Bank relations
• Capital structure both internal and external
• Internal dividend process

Your profile

You have a B. Com degree/applicable tertiary or equivalent qualification. You also have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

You have at least 5 years experience from treasury processes, including FX-transactions, Cash Management and Financing from a bank or a treasury department.

You are an analytical and proactive problem solver with the ability to plan and organize your work in an efficient manner. You also have strong integrity and a global mindset and can easily build and maintain relationships and work in team settings.
