marketing-focused, results-oriented social enterprise, which uses modern
management and marketing techniques to provide family planning, reproductive
and sexual healthcare and allied services. MST is a member of the Marie Stopes

Head of Research,
Monitoring & Evaluation
Job purpose
The Head of Research is responsible for all research, monitoring and
evaluation activities for Marie Stopes Tanzania’s core business and projects.
The Head of Research will work closely with project managers, regional staff
and other key stakeholders to ensure the attainment of Marie Stopes Tanzania’s
goals and objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Masters Degree in Public Health or equivalent degree.

Advanced degree or
further training in research, public health and related
disciplines an asset
● Experience in monitoring and evaluating
donor-funded projects
● Knowledge of family planning and
reproductive health an asset
● Experience of using SPSS, n Vivo and/or
other data analysis software is an

Social Marketeer
Job purpose
Responsible
for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market.
Staffs and directs sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement
of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.
Establishes
plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and
contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients
and Medical detailers. Works with All teams and SMT to ensure cost control
.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors of
Science degree or equivalent
- Strong understanding of customer care and
market dynamics and requirements
within pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales
teams

years of experience in Pharmaceutical sales with at least 2 years in
pharmaceutical.

Director of Strategy
and Partnership
Job purpose
Responsible for the implementation of the
Marie Stopes Tanzania Strategy (Power of 10), policy development and advocacy
initiatives in collaboration with relevant partners ensuring the highest
attainable impact of MST work in Tanzania, ensuring women can access high
quality reproductive health services. The role is a leading role in the
organization and will be rolemodelling participation, inclusion and transparency and inspire
employees to assume responsibility and accountability.
Minimum Requirements
- Law degree
preferable / Masters in Economics a plus
- Knowledge/Interest
working with Community Outreach, Family Planning and Social Marketing
- At least 5
years’ experience in a management position, preferably in the health
management
- At least 5
years’ experience managing donor funded project cycles including technical
and financial components.
- Minimum 3 years’
experience participating and/or leading proposal development processes
Director of Health
Systems and Management
Job purpose
The Director of Health Systems and Management is a key member of the Executive
Management Team and is responsible for ensuring and maintaining high quality
and excellence throughout MST. The DHSM
is responsible for research, evaluation, innovation and quality assessment,
actively promoting evidence to action. Quality is a priority for MST and the
role will be responsible for quality assessments both clinical, financial and
operational and will be providing advice to the ET and the respective
departments on best practises and how to improve and maintain excellence, both
at SO, clinics and Outreach.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of a University Degree in Health
or research, Master Degree is preferable
- Knowledge of Clinical Health, Community
Outreach, Family Planning and Social Marketing
- Knowledge of financial management added

- Atleast 5 years
experience in a senior management position, preferably in the health management or reproductive health
&family planning
- At least 5 years
experience managing multi-tiered management structures of medical
professionals, health outreach teams, social marketing, M&E, and/or
project development teams.
Project Lead
Job purpose
The project lead is a key member of the senior management
team and is responsible for identifying and facilitating the development of
donor funded grant opportunities/proposals. He/she is also responsible for
managing the compliance of all donor funded grants implemented by MST. Project lead
works closely with the project managers and the health services team to
coordinate, monitor and facilitate the activities of all donor funded
activities ensuring that the projects contribute towards the achievement of the
MST Power of 10 Strategy and that they are effectively integrated in the
service provision, regardless of channel.
The Project lead reports to the Director of Health Services and directly
supervises the project managers.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of a
University Degree in Health Science, Social Science, or International;
- Development
Management Master Degree is
preferable
- Knowledge of
Clinical Health, Community Outreach, Family Planning and Social Marketing
and
- Advantage
- At least 5 years
experience in a management position, preferably in the health management,
- Family planning community development, and/or
social marketing industry
- At least 5 years
experience managing multi-tiered management structures of medical ;
Professionals, health outreach teams, social marketing,
M&E, and/or project development teams
- At least 5 years
experience managing donor funded project cycles including technical and financial
components
- Minimum 3 years
experience participating and/or leading proposal development processes
- including
project design, management design and budget development.
