World Vision – US is actively seeking applications from skilled and experienced professionals to generate grant income for World Vision by working with a select group of National Offices to engage the US Government, multi-lateral organizations, and large foundations at a strategic level to lead the proposal development process, and to build strategic capacity in grant acquisition and management. Engage donors at strategic level:
Develop donor engagement strategies for specific countries for both WVUS and the WV Partnership that align with organizational strategy. Create a National Office exit strategy to ensure sustainable grant acquisition and project implementation capability within given time frames.

Proposal development:
Lead all stages of proposal development and grant acquisition including pre-proposal, proposal development, and post-submission.

Serve as the primary point of contact for managing and securing large, multi-stakeholder grants from the US Government and major foundations. Manage the timely submission of all components. Support National Office staff in the preparation and submission of issues letters and follow-up negotiations with donors as necessary.
Ensure complete, smooth transition to management program team for awarded grants, including active support of the grant startup process.
Through the donor debriefing process, disseminate lessons learned to relevant parties for denied proposals.

Coach National Office leadership in their representational roles with key decision makers in local US Embassies, missions organizations, and foundations.
Ensure National Office leadership prioritize and strengthen the grant acquisition process and the growth of grant income.
Support the grants team's compliance unit by ensuring the successful implementation of WVUS funded grant projects, including managing reporting and donor liaisons, and using the support of WV's Regional Grant Managers as necessary.
Coach National Office leadership in their representational roles with key decision makers in local US Embassies, missions organizations, and foundations.

Required experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (eight years). Proven experience in grant acquisition, with a minimum of five years of experience in successful proposal writing, management of proposal development teams and acquiring grants from US Government agencies and large US based foundations. Proven experience writing successful grant proposals in English.
