American Refugee Committee International (ARC) informs the public of an opening for the following positions for Gihembe and Nyabiheke Refugee Camps:
4. GBV PREVENTION OFFICER - Reports to GBV Coordinator
Required Qualifications
- University Degree in Social Sciences, Social Works, Psychology, Public/Community Health or a Degree in any other related but relevant field. Candidates possessing a diploma but with a strong experience in GBV programs may also apply;
- Extensive experience in GBV programming, preferably between 2-3 years of prior work in GBV prevention is preferred;
- A strong command of both written and spoken English and French; a working knowledge of Kinyarwanda and/or Kiswahili is required;
- Prior experience working with refugees/IDP and other vulnerable individuals (children, women) preferred.
