Key Responsibilities:
• Plan overall power and cooling system detail design for all network nodes
• Provide HLD and LLD for Power and Cooling designs for different hierarchy of network nodes
• Provide “in time“ Data builds (i.e. Planned configurations) for the different power and cooling systems solutions for mobile and fixed network that include configuration management, dimensioning, reliability and monitoring
• Plan and issue Power and Cooling system checklists ready for implementation in the network
• Design efficient and cost effective dimensioned power and cooling system infrastructures to support network
• Plan detailed processes for Power and Cooling system installations, dimensioning and reliability levels.
• Support Network Operations and Implementation teams in various Power and Cooling systems projects
• Prepare quality detailed technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BoQ), tender documents(RFQ) to ensure efficient procurement of planned Power and Cooling systems
• 3rd line support of design related problems in the power and cooling systems in the network.
• Lead acceptance testing processes (PAT) for the Power and Cooling systems in liaison with Contractors as well as Network Project and Operations departments.
• Collect and analyze Power and Cooling systems statistics against set KPIs and best practice so as to identify areas of improvement. This includes receiving and analyzing optimization reports from Network Performance and NOC.
• Perform impact assessment (dependences) before recommending any changes in the network through direct reports, as well as leading any changes into the Power and Cooling systems in the network by producing appropriate Works Authorities
• In liaison with Project Office, prepare detailed project plans for implementation of Power and Cooling system Infrastructures including estimations of all human and other resource requirements, and milestones definitions.
• Follow up on changes implemented in Power and Cooling systems and ensure that impact assessment is done on changes made by testing and observation through direct reports.
