Development Production International (DPI) is responsible for Statoil’s existing international comprehensive portfolio of producing assets and planned field developments. DPI focuses on building business clusters and maximizing the value of our producing fields internationally.
Some of the main priorities are to ensure industry leading HSE performance in all our operations and partner operated fields, deliver production and mature new projects. DPI is organized in four regions: Europe and Asia (EA), Middle East and North Africa (MENA), South America (SAM) and sub-Saharan Africa (SAF).
Statoil is now looking for a qualified Tanzanian National to work as a Security Coordinator. The Security coordinator provides local level coordination and provision of security services related to onshore operations and activities in Tanzania, protecting assets, information and personnel in accordance with Statoil requirements and policy.
This service is essential to the smooth running of Statoil Tanzania security operations, providing a safe and secure environment for staff, contractors, and visitors.

Job description

  • Follow up of all activities related to onshore security for personnel and assets in Tanzania.
  • Responsible for the provision of information and analysis of security related incidents that may potentially influence Statoil activities in Tanzania
  • Deliver security briefings for visitors and employees
  • Security awareness and security training for visitors, employees, and contractors
  • Ensure the delivery of all contractor security services as per the SOW, including managing security guard force response and the delivery of security support
  • Routinely inspect all security personnel and guard posts. Provide written feedback to the service provider and the Statoil Tanzania Safety and Security (TAN SS) Manager. Provide input for key performance measurements of the security provider to the TAN SS Manager
  • Responsible for monitoring and follow up of security reporting in SYNERGI
  • Conduct interviews and investigations on incidents. Produce incident reports recorded in SYNERGI
  • Develop information networks to reduces security risks and routinely communicate with stakeholders and local security services, both private and public
  • Support field / remote site activities by providing field security support and planning
  • Through liaison, coordination and cooperation, share and exchange information regarding the security context in network with all relevant stakeholders. Analyze local security dynamics/relations and future scenarios in collaboration with SS Manager and staff with purpose of introducing time relevant effective risk mitigation measures

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or equivalent in Security management.
  • Minimum of 5 years work related experience in Security Management
  • Excellent written and Oral Kiswahili and English Language skills
  • Experienced in; Risk Management, Security Management (physical, personnel, and information security), and access Control. Knowledge of Counter-terrorism, Investigation, and information analysis is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office
