A reputable and rapidly expanding Social Security Institution is currently seeking to recruit suitably qualified and competent Tanzanians. The incumbent is expected to perform his/her duties in line with the Institution rules and regulations to ensure a better end results.

Procurement Officer - (ONE POST) DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM
The Procurement and Supplies officer is responsible for - Receiving goods and materials in store and issues the same to user departments; inspects goods for quality and quantity upon delivery, issue or during storage; prepares stores documents such as Local Purchase Orders, Goods Received Notes, Requisition and Issue Vouchers; checks and assists to prepare statements of requirements, tender advertisements, contract documents; maintains records of all procurement, disposal and related activities; prepares periodic performance reports, carries out stock counts and stock valuations; Maintains up to-date data base on procurement activities; implements decisions of the tender board. Candidate to this position should have Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with bias in Materials Management and CSP equivalent qualifications with at least two years experience in a reputable institution. Must be able to implement and sup ise the application of the Public Procurement Act and its Regulations. Must be computer literate with advanced knowledge of procurement and materials management packages. Age limit between 25•35 years old.
