TEACHER DEVELOPMENT INTERN
OVERVIEW
The Intern will work 20 hours per week (4 hours MON-FRI) during the academic year (or as mutually agreed upon by the intern and the Office of The School) with a focus on issues related to education. Particular areas of focus may include:
• Long Term programs in LC in Marketing, Entrepreneurship and English Course at Tegeta area;
• Short term programs, public and independent, and how to access them;
• Identification of students for LC to serve as resources for LC programs.
ACTIVITIES
The Intern will work with the team on a variety of agreed upon tasks, including:
• Research to benefit the staff of the office as well as parents who seek information and support from the college;
• Data collection from primary schools and secondary schools in the neighborhood;
• Development of communication mechanisms (possibly to include written materials, workshops, etc.) to assist students with making appropriate choices;
• Other tasks as needed, including, as time allows in related projects.
• Must have knowledge of and experience with or interest in any or some of these issues, including a combination of coursework and professional experience;
• Must know how to use computers, do online research and development of materials;
• Must be a currently matriculated degree student or graduated in any related courses.
We are seeking an ambitious Intern to join our Luji Collegeacademic team this October! This is a part-time internship requiring a minimum 10-week commitment. (2 months)
