The Community of Junior Librarians and Information Professionals is a Non Governmental Organization dedicated to recruit graduate to volunteers in academic and non academic institution in the areas of librarianship, records management and teaching. Our core value is to link the knowledge of the newly graduates and the institutions which need them with agreement. There has been a serious problem linking employment and professionalism among the junior graduating students due to lack of viable and sustainable curriculum which produce job seekers meanwhile employers do need experienced candidates. Several times the candidates experience difficulty in employment opportunities leading to frustration and desperation due to inadequate job experience and technical knowhow.
It is further noted that majority of Tanzanian families live below the poverty line and many families go extra mile to make possibilities of financing the education of their children or relatives with the hope of reward once they get employed. At the same time graduates don’t know where and how to get employment or to employ themselves hence leading to frustration and confusion. We believe that our organization ‘is a place’ to accommodate and develop professionalism in Tanzani and beyond. We please welcome your esteemed organization, individuals, companies, government and non government agencies to work with us to achieve this goal.
The organization is currently looking for science teachers and nursery school teachers to cover the post in Dar es salaam, but the post is voluntary based and you are likely to be employed very soon.
