Clinical Officer II (2 POSTS)
22.1. QUALIFICATION AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
Holder of Form IV or VI certificate plus a Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a
recognized institution
Excellent English, written and oral communications skills.
Knowledge in Computer application packages.
22.2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Makes proper diagnosis of disease, Prescribes treatments,
Treats wounds,
Gives First Aid to MCH problems, Gives anesthesia during operations
Attends general outpatient clinics.
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection – control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures and controlled substance regulations.

Documents patient care services by writing and keeping patients records
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipments inventories, evaluating new equipment and techniques
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
