The Mitchell Group, Inc. (TMG), an international development consulting firm based in Washington, DC, is currently is seeking expressions of interest from qualified consultants of all levels for several as-needed positions for the upcoming Monitoring and Evaluation opportunity. Candidates must be well-organized, have exemplary communication skills, and have the ability to be flexible. We are seeking candidates for the following positions:
(Senior) Evaluation Advisor
Serve as team lead for designing, conducting, and managing evaluations; provide quality control oversight for evaluation; and ensure the integrity of the methodology, process, and comparability of evaluation findings. Responsible for leading a multidisciplinary cross-cultural team as applicable, and an expert in quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods.
(Senior) Technical Advisor
Serve as lead subject matter expert on IDIQ evaluation task task teams. Provide high level technical support for in the field for on-going evaluations and capacity building.
Performance Monitoring Specialist
Lead expert in developing and designing performance monitoring systems. Manage and coordinate the overall approach to performance monitoring, with the skills and capability to provide technical assistance in developing Performance Monitoring Plans, and Monitoring and Evaluation plans.
Evaluation and Performance Monitoring Training Specialist
Lead expert in training and other M&E capacity building. Responsible for planning and conducting training workshops on monitoring and evaluation topics, for adult educators. Manage and coordinate all M&E training and skills development activities.
Evaluation Methods Specialist
Lead expert in conceptualizing quantitative and qualitative data collection and analytical methods to support evaluation design and implementation.
Communication Specialist
Lead expert in synthesizing complex technical issues and subjects for presentation to diverse stakeholders and audiences.
The following minimum qualifications apply:
· Direct experience working for US Government, foreign governments and international organizations.
· International experience.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to multi-task.
· Must have the ability to work well under pressure and be well organized to manage people.
· Must have the ability to maintain good working relationships with clients, employees, and industry.
· Must have effective oral and written communication skills and be able to articulate thoughts and ideas to others.
· Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of files and other documents
· Must be flexible in work habits and work schedule
