Position: Business Development Executive (New Partners)
JOB PURPOSE
To develop new business and new partners based on Tigo Cash products and services. These partners are intended to come from corporate companies, financial institutions, government institutions and NGOs. These partners will require solutions for collections, distribution of payments and any other unfulfilled need around payments and mobile financial services.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and understand consumer needs to identify product opportunities, especially on products within mobile financial services oriented to large companies, NGOs and government institutions.
- Identify synergies between different Tigo business lines that can lead to successful products for the intended target.
- Plan, develop and execute business cases, product definition, blueprints and business flows for new products/services to corporate, NGOs and government institutions.
- Identify and manage business partners who can make use of Tigo Cash as a payment platform and develop new products according to their needs.
- Manage relationships with new bill companies.
- Identify best practices in other markets that can be applicable to Rwanda.
- Work with multifunctional teams (commercial, marketing, sales, IT, customer service) in order to launch new services in the market.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in business, finance, commerce or related discipline
- Experience in consumer product management or product development roles in retail/financial services
- Capacity for strategic thinking
- Strong numerical and analytical thinking
- Skills in planning, organizing, project management and decision making
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Influencing and relationship building skills
