Job Summary

​We have been shortlisted to tender for the upcoming "TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE EMPOWERMENT OF NON STATE ACTORS PROGRAMME, BOTSWANA". The objective of the project is to contribute to economic growth promotion and poverty reduction, through the strengthening of the role of Non State Actors in Botswana.

The project will be based in the capital, Gaborone.  The intended start date is 1st December 2013 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 36 months from this date. 

Key Responsibilities

​We are seeking a senior level Monitoring and Evaluation Expert who will possess the following skills and experience:

• A post-graduate degree in monitoring and evaluation, NGO management, development or
• related disciplines, or equivalent.
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer skills including database development
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong report and proposal writing skills
• Minimum of 7 years of working experience in development cooperation sector
• Minimum of 5 years experience in monitoring and evaluation of programmes
• Relevant professional experience in supporting design and introduction of performance
• monitoring systems, preferably including NGOs.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in developing countries.
• Relevant experience in the design of database and information systems.
• Knowledge of non state actor sector in Southern Africa would be an advantage​
