Senior Programme Officer (Commonwealth Writers)

Commonwealth Writers (www.commonwealthwriters.org), the cultural initiative of the Commonwealth Foundation, is looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for new writing in the context of international development.

Set up in 2011, the programme is expanding to identify and develop more writers across 54 Commonwealth countries. We’re looking for someone who has knowledge of the international literary scene, experience in communication for development, extensive project management and who thrives in a small, dedicated team.

Salary & key benefits: £37,000pa, 15% tax free gratuity payment (can be used for personal pension scheme) plus a generous holiday allowance of 34 days (plus bank holidays)
