MST Head of Research, Monitoring and Evaluation

Marie Stopes Tanzania (MST) is a marketing-focused, results-oriented social enterprise, which uses modern management and marketing techniques to provide family planning, reproductive and sexual healthcare and allied services. MST is a member of the Marie Stopes International (MSI) Global Partnership, which operates in over 46 countries worldwide. MST’s goal is to improve quality of life in Tanzania by dramatically improving access to and use of family planning and other reproductive health services.
   
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our highly motivated team in the following role;

Head of  Research, Monitoring and Evaluation

Job purpose
The Head of Research (HoR) is responsible for all research, monitoring and evaluation activities for MST’s core business and projects.  The HoR will work closely with project managers, regional staff and other key stakeholders to ensure the attainment of MST goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements

● Undergraduate degree in public health or related discipline
● Advanced degree or further training in research, public health and related
   disciplines an asset.
● Demonstrated research experience
● Experience in monitoring and evaluating donor-funded projects
●. Knowledge of family planning and reproductive health an asset
● Experience of using SPSS, n Vivo and/or other data analysis software is an
   Advantage.
● Experience of collaborating actively with internal and external stakeholders

●  Ability to present and write for multiple audiences

● At least 3 years in managing the planning, monitoring and evaluation of projects in Tanzania at a senior level with reputable social organisations
● A track record of working conversantly with output based log frame approach in planning, monitoring and evaluation
