CARE International Provincial Director

CARE is seeking a strong Provincial Director (PD) to lead our operations in the Kivu provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Provincial Director will provide senior leadership to project implementation and all planning and fundraising efforts within the CARE programs in the province, ensuring efficient programmatic implementation of all components. S/he will provide oversight for the entire Provincial portfolio, will determine appropriate implementing mechanisms to achieve program/projects’ strategic goals, having authority for decisions relating to projects activities and staff in the Province. S/he will serve as the primary Program liaison for donors, partners and stakeholders in the province. S/he will oversee provincial level planning and budgeting, and reporting/evaluations, ensuring compliance with management and financial procedures. The PD will be based in Goma.
