Title: Radio Producer
Location: Tororo, Uganda.
Position: 1
Roles
The Radio producer will have primary responsibility for creating scripts. The Producer will be involved in the entire process, right from the conceptualization to the final distribution.
Requirement:
Qualifications, Competences and Skills
• Degree in Mass communications with a major in radio production or the equivalent
• Atleast 2 years experience in filming and production
• Experience in media.Administration and customer service
• Creative writing, Marketing and editing skill
• Good command of the English and Luganda language as well as Dhopadhola
• Creativity and Innovation
Title: Finance Officer
(Re-advertised those who applied previously need not reapply) Location: Tororo, Uganda. Position:
Requirement:
• The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor’s degree in the field of accounting, preferably in Bachelor of Commerce.
• Accounting with a professional accountancy qualification, preferably ACCA, CIMA or CPA
• At least five years’ work experience.
• A higher degree is an added advantage.
• The candidate will command one of the accounting packages, preferably Pastel.
Title: Driver
Location: Either Masaka, Moroto, Bukedea or Tororo
Positions: 4
The basic role of the driver is to be responsible for operating passenger motor vehicles in accordance with supervisor’s instructions to transport personnel to different areas.
Requirement:
QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCES AND SKILLS
• Completion of Ordinary Level education is required, vocational training in general automotive mechanic is desirable.
• Three years of driving experience is required and must have a valid Driver’s license, Classes B, and DL
• Must have good working knowledge in English language and a local language in the area of interest.
• Detailed knowledge of the traffic laws and rules of the road, knowledge of defensive driving techniques sufficient to exercise special precaution and take evasive action to protect passengers.
• Capability to exercise defensive driving skills under strain.
• Mechanical ability to identify vehicle malfunctions and perform minor repair and maintenance.
Title: M&E Officer/Front Desk Administrator
Location: Either Masaka, Moroto or Bukedea Positions: 3
The roles are but not limited to;
• Ensuring adequate documentation and maintenance of records/case files
• Coordinating and ensure implementation of agreed M&E activities including data collection and management, as well as reporting and dissemination plans.
• Perform administrative/front desk office roles

Title: Legal Officer
Location: Tororo Positions: 1
The major role of the legal officer will be to oversee all the legal aspects of activities undertaken in MIFUMI.
Requirement:
Qualifications, Competence and skills
• The candidate should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Law and must possess a practicing certificate with a minimum of at least 2 years’ work experience in a related field.
• proficiency with computing, and a keen interest in human rights especially women’s rights.
• The candidate should have a high problem solving acumen, be passionate about activities that help marginalized people, especially women and children suffering domestic violence, and be able to relate well with colleagues and manage teams.
• Among others, the successful candidate will be required to collaborate and engage with all the relevant government departments and CSOs in the districts towards the success of the programme.
Title: Social Worker
Location: Either Masaka or Moroto Positions: 2
The major task will be to counsel and follow up on survivors of SGBV among other tasks
Requirement:
Qualifications, Competence and skills
• The candidate should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a social science or related subject with a minimum of at least 2 years’ work experience in a related field.
• Experience in counseling and guidance is a strong added advantage.
• proficiency with computing, and a keen interest in human rights especially women’s rights.
• The candidate should have a high problem solving acumen, be passionate about activities that help marginalized people, especially women and children suffering domestic violence, and be able to relate well with colleagues and manage teams.
Title: GBV Coordinator.
Location: Bukedea, Masaka, Moroto Positions: 3
The major role of the GBV Coordinator is to oversee both the legal and Coordination aspects of all the activities of the Intergrated GBV Prevention and Response services Program and activities to address Intimate Partner Violence in the district of operation among other roles.
