EABL operates within a multi cultural, multi national, multi currency environment. The company operates within the East African region. The Talent Delivery team in the EABL is responsible for putting into operation the talent management, resourcing and learning programmes to the Markets and Functions. This role works closely with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers, Reward Manager and the Diageo Sourcing team. This role is the key contact for all external recruitment agencies and contracted third parties in relation to recruitment activity.
The Resourcing Specialist handles all resourcing for the different markets that EABL operates in and each of the markets have different levels of potential employees in terms of skill availability, employment levels and the ability to attract is different in the markets. With the expansion into other markets the complexities of adequate talent in the markets to support EABL growth is a key challenge. The different markets also have different legislation around recruitment and the diversity and inclusion agenda for EABL needs to be embedded in the resourcing activity.
Purpose of Role:
The Resourcing Manager is responsible for executing the end-to-end resourcing process. They are a key contact with both internal and external candidates and facilitate a seamless resourcing process keeping all participants up to date, informed and effective. They will directly influence elements of Diageo’s/EABL’s reputation with new candidates and thus are critical in the resourcing process.
Top 3-5 Accountabilities:
Managing Resourcing Process
• On receipt of the line manager forms requesting a recruitment activity, verifying the selection process with the In Market HR Business Partner to proceed to recruit
• Supporting HR Business Partner to ensure proactive review of internal talent and reward band for vacant roles.
• Managing the end-to-end on-line process for the resourcing on Brassring (online candidate management system) and centres, where necessary, with emphasis on reduced Time to Hire.
• Rolling out line manager and HR BP resourcing process training to embed behaviours and process
Early Career Programme (Graduate Programme)
• Managing the annual Early Career resourcing process ensuring that there is talent joining the programme form within the business and externally.
• Aligning HR BP's and heads of functions on numbers joining the programme, the attraction strategy including best approach for new markets if needed
• Training assessors for the early career programme. Third party and Candidate interaction
• Ensuring great candidate experience by ensuring communication including candidate responses during the resourcing process.
• Driving enhanced relationships with external stakeholders as the main point of contact with local agencies to recruit external candidates.
Providing Resourcing Information
• Analysing metrics, reports emerging trends on resourcing. Producing and supplying on request and as standard reports any relevant statistical information
• Managing updates of resourcing status and costs on Brassring.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Graduate in a relevant field
• Significant exposure to resourcing activity and processes as an agency or inhouse recruiter
• Ability to interact and manage with different stakeholder groups.
• Able to demonstrate superior customer service skills
• Technologically literate and able to pick up and work with multiple systems.
• Able to demonstrate ability to build strong credible relationships with line managers and HR Managers

• Highly organized and efficient
