This role will contribute to improving the teaching and learning of English in Sudan through the successful delivery of the British Council`s global English Language Teaching programme. English is a key element of the British Council’s cultural relations work in Sub-Saharan Africa, and the postholder will be expected to achieve substantial impact through engaging in reform agendas at policy level with the Ministry of Education (Interface), through teacher training and development (Engaging Teachers), and through supporting learners with learning options which complement formal learning (Connect) – tailoring the British Council Global English products and services to local needs.
You will have: A DELTA, PGCE or Trinity Diploma TESOL qualification. Project and Contract Management skills, sector expertise including teacher training skills and substantial teaching experience.
