CHF International is seeking a Chief of Party (COP) for an anticipated Zambia Economic Resilience Program for Improved Food Security (ZERS) program which will implement innovative strategies and approaches to enable vulnerable and poor rural households as well as the very poor to improve food security through strengthened economic resilience.
The COP will provide strategic vision and leadership for the program in order to achieve program goals and objectives, including managing the program implementation plan, reporting, analyzing budgets, managing offices and staff, and ensuring transparency and the accomplishment of program objectives. The COP will manage coordination mechanisms with relevant stakeholders, serves as the key liaison with HQ, government officials, the private sector, local and international NGOs, implementing partners, and community members.
Qualifications:
•Master’s degree in international development, social work, public health, community health, economic development, or related field. •10+ years of experience in implementing poverty reduction, livelihoods, women’s empowerment, and/or nutrition programs in developing countries; monitoring and evaluation experience and demonstrated skills in gender analysis and programming. •10+ years of experience managing $10M+, multi-year donor-funded development programs for international donors; prior COP, DCOP, or equivalent experience required. •In-depth knowledge of USAID programmatic, compliance and reporting requirements. •Significant experience in program development and grants/contracts management. •Fluency in English, written and oral.
