ACF is an international non-governmental, private, apolitical, non-religious and non-profit organization created in 1979. Its goal is to combat hunger and dangerous situations that threaten men, women and children. Currently 500 expats and more than 5,000 employees are working for ACF in more than forty-six countries working in projects concerning four areas of focus: nutrition, health, food security and water and sanitation.
ACF-Spain seeks to expand its team of administrator coordinators for current and future vacancies in those geographical regions which are competence of ACF.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To coordinate all financial and administrative issue of the mission.
- To coordinate the settlement and the follow up of human resources policy in the mission.
TASKS:
- Coordination of the treasury (around 1.5 million euro) and the accounting information.
- Administration of the management, financial and accounting procedures.
- In charge of the budgetary planning, and negotiation of financing with the donors.
- Control and management of the accounting of the bases.
- Representation of the organization in the absence of Country director.
- Administration of the human resources procedures. Local staff about 75 people.
- Coordination of activities in relation with the hiring of local staff.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- University degree in Economics, Business or Management.
- Minimum two years experience in a post requiring the functions above.
- Required Good knowledge of accounting, finances, and budgetary planning.
- Valued previous work in the field.
- Valued Master degree in international cooperation.
- Good Knowledge of at least two of these languages: English French or Spanish.
- Good knowledge of computer applications (Excel).

REQUIREMENTS:
For candidates who are not in Madrid the first interview will be through telephone. Face to face interviews to be held in Madrid. Travel costs are initially on account of candidates, they will be reimbursed just in case of successful applications.
