Senior Fuel Security Coordinator -Buzwagi Gold Mine

Our Buzwagi Mine in Tanzania is currently searching for an experienced Senior Security Fuel Coordinator to provide effective supervision towards fuel management for the Buzwagi Mine Site, implement and uphold fuel management systems and minimize fuel loss. This position reports to the Security Manager, working on a FIFO 6/3 weeks roster.

Responsibilities:

Implement and improve current Fuel management systems on Buzwagi Mine.
Inspect bulk storage areas and current dispensing systems.
Provide pro active supervision regarding Fuel management systems and procedures.
Manage all issuing and inspections of dispensing sheets, fuel requisition forms and data collection procedures.
Ensure all data is correctly recorded doing cross checks
Reconcile daily usage of fuel and lubrications.
Submit reconciliation reports to the Security Operations Superintendent on a daily basis.
Record all required data in the appropriate database and submit to the Buzwagi Fuel Reconciliation Coordinator daily.
Communicate and ensure compliance of all fuel management procedures to management personnel and service truck operators.
Communicate all irregularities and faulty equipment to the Buzwagi Fuel Reconciliation Coordinator, Mobile Maintenance Superintendent and Security Operations Superintendent.
Comply with insurance requirements from the Buzwagi Fuel Reconciliation Coordinator.
Manage and coordinate Fuel distribution according to Security Operations Superintendent’s Instructions.
Be present in the field during field dispensing and fuel distribution to mobile and fixed equipment Supervise all fuel dispensing activities.
All duties and responsibilities as directed by the Buzwagi Security Manager.
Night shift work will be required.

Qualifications

Appropriate Security certificate or diploma

Experience:

A minimum 6-10 years experience within similar environment
Computer skills with regards to MS Office suit
Consistent demonstration of Barrick Core Values.
Ability to maintain accurate records
Self-starter, able to work and plan daily tasks with no supervision.
Performance Orientation, strongly motivated, leads by example and maintains a high work standard
Clear and effective communication skills in written and spoken English
