General Purpose
To drive the General Retail Management Standard Operating Processes and development for the LSO.
Main Responsibility Areas
The LSO Manager of General Retail Management is ultimately responsible for driving Nokia market share by executing at Retail Point of sales a consistent retail experience.. S/he will also drive execution of all retail activities such as GTM and retail marketing initiatives including delivering TCO elements (e.g. field force, retail promotions, store level incentive programs, retail training, retail communications, POSM etc). This includes managing the cross-functional planning process for General Retail Management activities, as well as managing the in-store execution. S/he is responsible for optimal allocation of Nokia's investment in General retail Management to support the local channel strategy and maximize the ROI.
The Manager of General Retail Management will be responsible for the following:
- Drive sell-out from General Retail stores and deliver the lead sales indicators for the LSO (i.e. outlet coverage, share of shelf, share of visibility, share of range, GTM execution & compliance, Sales assistant recommendation, retailer satisfaction, visual/ purchase experience)
- GTM planning and execution process for General Retail management, covering all retail activities (e.g. field force, mystery shopping, retail promotions, store level incentive programs, retail training, retail communications).
- Drive Effectiveness and efficiency in GRM operations by using Mystery audit, RSS, Retail Audit scores and optimizing performance and capability
- Cross functionally collaborate with other functional teams like NR, Operator teams to deliver SLA as agreed.
- Work with Account Managers to maximize store level sell-out and ensure high Product availability at Point of sales
- Ensure GRM costs as a % of sales opex is within budgets and optimize ROI
- Drive usage of standard Nokia Retail IT platforms in the LSU eg RetailNet and ensure that the data reported back is accurate. Effectively leverage the FF tools to continuously improve the quality of execution and deploy GRM process like Rex
- Own and Drive Solution activations in GRA+, GRB+ and track effectiveness
- Own the FF agency relationship and oversee the H/c deployment and execution and Ensure that FF agency delivers on the KPIs and cost targets & ensures that the insights, info & all leading indicators are appropriately shared within the LSU
- Collaborate with Retail & Customer Marketing to ensure availability and deliver of POSM , Furniture's, Fixtures etc
- Collaborate with Nokia Academy to ensure FF competency is maintained and ensure SLA's agreed with Academy are implemented
- Management of related external vendors: e.g. Field Force agency, Promoter agency, furniture vendors

Qualifications
Experience
- University degree in marketing, technology or business administration
- Business understanding in sales and marketing area, specifically about the dynamics of retail business and ideally field force management
- Basic understanding of mobile technologies
- Geographical familiarity

- Experience in consumer goods (e.g. electronics, lifestyle products, FMCG) retail management is a plus
