The Human Resource Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) is a three-year entry-level program. HRLDP Associates will have the opportunity to complete three rotations within North America (US and Canada) with the possibility of International rotations/roles during and following the program. The assignments are designed for the Associate to gain essential leadership and functional capabilities within the field of Human Resources.
The HRLDP offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and build a diverse set of human resource skills in areas such as talent management, recruiting, compensation, learning, employee relations and organization development. The core features of the program include:
- Three rotations in three years
- Valuable, hands-on experience in a real job, with real responsibilities from day one
- Mentor assigned for three-year span
- Training plan to develop functional and leadership capabilities. Combination of internal and external offerings.
After an initial orientation the HRLDP Associate will commence with the first rotation. The nature and location of this rotation will be based on business need and candidate background.
- Bachelors Degree required, minimum cumulative GPA = 3.2.
- Less Than Two Years Full-time work experience
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong problem solving skills; ability to gather and analyze data
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to communicate with all levels in organization
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects to conclusion
- For the first three years of employment, while the candidate is an HRLDP Associate, s/he must be willing and able to relocate within the United States and Canada.
- The successful candidate will have an interest and ability to pursue a career in human resource management.
- The successful candidate must be Legal Drinking Age by the time s/he starts work by June 2012.
- As a global organization, Diageo has a strong preference for bi-lingual talent, especially Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin and French.
- Diageo will not sponsor individuals for U.S. work authorization in connection with this program. Applicants must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship.
